  1. According to the CompUSA circular in my Sunday newspaper, the Tivo/CompUSA deal is good again. :)
  2. Thanks for the welcome. As for the subscription, I signed up for a monthly deal at $12.95, but then two days ago, changed it to the lifetime deal for $299. The rebate appears to be payable with a one year commitment or the lifetime sub. (The $12.95 that had already been charged to my credit card was refunded.) Along with it being my first post here, it's also my first Tivo, and I sure like the DVR.
  3. Bought a Tivo Series2 80-hour DVR at CompUSA yesterday for about $30 after rebates. The Tivo was regularly $220, but there's a $20 price cut to $200. There's a $20 rebate from CompUSA, and a $150 rebate from Tivo for a total price of $30 (not including taxes.) This beats the Circuit City price of $70 which is displayed on the "deals" page. Not sure how long the CompUSA rebate or price cut lasts. The Tivo rebate goes for a few weeks I think. The Tivo rebates require activation and a 12 month commitment. Setup was pretty easy. http://image.compusa.com/prodimages/26/301aa801-9344-43ca-ab0b-b31c8a225798.gif http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=313607&pfp=cat3
