  1. Was it $8 auction with $40 shipping by any chance? The 10% is off the auction amount not the shipping. BTW, a $8 auction with $40 shipping is getting pretty close to having ebay look at them for "fee avoidance" TOS violations...
  2. Don't bring your receipt in... The terms specifically state that if you return the item you forfeit the BBBs. Poof - they're gone...
  3. Nef (looks like you figured that out on your own anyway...) Edit - or wait another 5 days at your current rate.
  4. Check uniform or police/emergency services supply stores as well.
  5. Looking for PArty Box or Party Crate, not the JR version. Lowest I've found is barnesandnoble - $26.99 after member discount for the crate (core game plus expansion packs 1 and 2).
  6. That beats the Home Depot kit price... if a store around you has one in stock. Link for the Lazy If not, a couple stores local to me do according to the website. I'd be happy to pick one up and mail it to you for the price of the unit and postage if you need it.
  7. needed for a Christmas Gift... any deals????
  8. Strait-Line LL30 Laser Level SF75 Stud Finder Kit Price: $19.97/ea Includes a stud finder plus a laser level. I'm sure it's no where near as nice as a $70 stud finder by itself though.
  9. Get into the Maxperks program. They often send out $xx off $yyy coupons that can be used in-store and/or online/phone. My last quarterly statement includes a $25 off $150 card. And even though they say not combinable with other offers/promotions/etc. I've never had them give a problem using them on sale items. http://www.officemaxperks.com/
  10. mwave has an enclosure on sale right now (no hdd) - $19.99 http://www.mwave.com/mwave/Skusearch.hmx?scriteria=aa26420 If you've been a customer in the past, they've been sending $10 off $10 coupon codes to update your account to the new system. making if $9.99 + shipping (about $7 to me). I thought about picking one up to go with the woot.com 250GB drive for $50... but that would all be coming out of Christmas money so I thought better of it.
  11. Yep committing FRAUD is always a great idea. I take it you don't believe in karma. Or do you feel it's okay to steal from them because they're a large company??
  12. Thanks for the work!
  13. Updated OP with new code... (didn't want to start a new thread)
  14. For one that's solid wire. Most patch cables are stranded - not a huge difference but some. Solid is normally used for punch down terminals. If you don't kink it and aren't trying to get the absolute fastest out of the cable, you'll probably be fine. Then it's not premade, you have to put the ends on yourself. But you do get the crimper...
  15. The $20 paypal code gets put in on the Dell site not the paypal site. Just like any other Dell promo/coupon code. Believe it has to be Dell home though. I know it won't work through the Dell Outlet.
  16. About a year ago I was looking for a juicer as a gift... The Jack Lalanne ones I looked at had so-so reviews. I ended up getting her this one - the Breville JE900. She's been very happy with it. Only downside is it is loud. The Breville is more than 2x the power (600W motor vs 250W on the LaLanne). It's also direct drive - no gears to tear up. Not sure about the LaLanne, but some use gears so they can get away with smaller motors. The problem is they use plastic gears and the gears wear out.
  17. Thanks for the info. That alone rules out that one... With more searching I found this about the one from Wachovia: https://www.visadpsgiftcard.com/southtrust/Pages/ConsumerGiftHomePage.aspx There is a monthly maintenance fee (unspecified in the FAQs) but it is waived for the 1st 6 months.
  18. Why would you expect a HP laptop to break after 4 days? Well, maybe if it was dropped.
  19. Not only that it's "a little more" now, but in a couple years when it's time to "replace" the EDTV set, think about what will be available and at what price. Think about what a 42" HDTV set cost 2 or 3 years ago and which features they lacked that are now pretty much standard. It comes down to your mindset. If you're one who has to have the latest and greatest processor, or do you buy what you need now and avoid that extra surcharge just because it's the fastest chip TODAY? Then in a couple years when your needs increase you buy an even faster chip for 1/2, 1/3 or maybe 1/4 the cost? Tech prices are dropping all the time. It's not like that tv won't be usable until the day it dies. Edit - this is a site about deals/bargains. The best bargains/deals are not usually on the newest/latest/greatest/best.
  20. Down the street from me is a house that has a boatload of lights. They bought the lot next door just to put lights up! And no, I'm not joking! They don't have any of the animated lights like these. But plenty of inflatables, and moving displays. They even have a TV projector set up in the middle of the yard. I'll try to remember to take the camera along when walking the dogs.
  21. Hmm... seems like the 9 year old who thinks their not responsible enough for a mp3 player is more likely to be responsible enough for it than the one who thinks they are responsible enough for an ipod...
  22. I can't get to the site (wmv's are blocked here)... but have any of you checked out http://www.animatedlighting.com/showcase/customershows.asp Animated lighting makes products to control lights - including sync'ing to music. Sounds like the link may use a similar product if not one from them.
  23. It's a 4 Cell Li Ion battery - only 29 WHrs! The 2200 had 2 choices of batteries - the 8 Cell NiMH at 43 WHrs and the 8 Cell Li Ion at 65 WHrs for $69 more (which btw for $79 you could keep the 8 Cell NiMh and get the Li Ion too). Just because its a Li Ion battery doesn't make it the same. Personally I'd rather the 8 cell NiMH over a 4 Cell Li Ion (almost 50% longer runtime).
  24. Could you explain... From what the bank said it sounded more like a debit card in that it could be used either way. But they surcharge $1 if they use it as a debit card. It was $1.95 for any amount from $25 to $600, we decide the amount when we buy it. I didn't ask about reloading it. I didn't even think about that until the Walgreens FAR "Green Dot" Visa card ad was pointed out. I just noticed the ad in the Walgreens circular has a picture of the card. It has the person's name on it. I was assuming it would come blank or some generic "Gift Recipient" not personalized. How long does it take to get them?
