  1. Whew that's a relief! It would not have fit the image I have of you to see you pregnant...
  2. But now it feels like fall and sunshine too! What side of town are you in, East Arlington on my part...
  3. The surfing and itunes yes, haven't tried the gaming on the mini 10. But I love it....What about going up to the Inspiron 1440, it would have the dvd drive and is a little bit bigger screen. It's not a netbook but is fairly affordable.
  4. Ok, I know my kids must be older now cuz the only thing I think of when I hear shell shocker is the daily deal on Newegg....
  5. Probably not until the week before Christmas. I don't have a lot to go under the tree (cracked and bought the boys "new" refurbished laptops... That is most of Christmas!
  6. This twitter critter sends you greetings as I did number one. Besides getting a tweet you can find me at twitter.com/smartmomma49
  7. I know some of you don't like Dell computers, but if you are thinking Dell and don't mind refurbed, there is a coupon code that I got from Twitter KFNLHZJ1NSGP2V that expires 10/13/2009 or after 1500 I think redemptions, limit 2. I just ordered 2 of the Inspiron 1440's for my sons. 15% off any Dell Outlet Inspiron™ laptop. Enter code at checkout: KFNLHZJ1NSGP2V
  8. It tells me the item I want is in stock but won't add it to the cart! I hate toysrus, I have used IE, AOL, I'm out of ideas and this has been going on for a while now...
  9. I'm with you. I don't break the budget. ALthough I am the one with more kids, I don't expect my brothers to go nuts on them. Often they get one thing to share, now they are older I tell them to get them a gift card to either a big box store (ie Walmart, etc) or to Gamestop and then they can pick something together... I only have one niece and her gift varies from year to year....
  10. I'm really stumped. I wanted to get mine both new laptops but my oldest doesn't want to blow our budget (which is thoughtful but...). Right now I know of gift cards and some clothes.
  11. This is tough since I've been a BF person since the 80's despite working retail... But my funniest memory still from past years is the time I sent my dh to we be toys to get a fisher price tool bench and the little women pushed him around so bad that he's not been out shopping on black friday since. Mind you he's 6'5 but those women with their carts totally intimidated him!!
  12. I'll see your 86 and raise to 91 @4:30 this afternoon in Jacksonville.... I'd love the low 80's upper 70's right now. {{sigh}}

    Christmas Catalog

I got the Sears Christmas tools catalog yesterday in the mail. We don't even shop at Sears. I looked to be sure it was for my address and it was...?
  14. You're the best! Let me know if I can help, maybe be an elf although I know we always hope we don't need them!!
  15. I see people like that at my Walmart every day. Come visit me and you can have a makeup free week...LOL
  16. We had 2... And if it stormed, they would talk everytime the lightning struck near us! We also had this quacking duck that did the same thing...even after we took the batteries out. Very freaky and strange...
  17. My supertarget has a sign as you go in one of the doors that they will match any competitor's print ad, simply bring the ad.
  18. Starbucks Gift Cards itunes Gift Cards cold hard cash new hoodies more cash I kid you not. That is my older son's wish list.
  19. Eek Furby!!!! Nooooooooooooooooooo
  20. More and more I'm switching to online shopping. A lot of what I have needed/wanted has been available online for the same or better price. Some of the rest was worth the extra dollar or two for the convenience. I still like to go people watch but I'm getting to where the crowds and the rudeness of some just kill my mood. Plus with Gottadeal and Brad's help I've been able to make a game plan for both my online and in store needs.
  21. I went online last year and got most of what I wanted. Didn't really want any of the "doorbusters" that were in store so I ordered the clothes for the boys and got free shipping too... It was a win/win for me.
  22. I won one last year. Don't remember the contest cuz I entered a lot of them..
  23. I'm with you on not buying things just to have stuff under the tree. Too much junk over the years. I did break down this year and bought 2 "farting" piggy banks as a joke for the boys. They are boys so I'm sure you understand why. My dh thinks they are a scream so I can't wait to see them opened...
  24. With the exception of a very few items, my Target had rainchecks available so you could still get it later...
  25. I just did the ice blue one (mini 10) with the faster processor for 325.00 including shipping, My little bro will be thrilled...
