I think there is a DVD coming out in early December, it is probably episodes from the cartoon.

I've argued for this since I was a little girl. It makes perfect sense to me (my parents never bought it though). I don't think that they could be any worse than the cinnamon rolls that my parents fixed and we tend to do also. Especially if they were an oatmeal raisin or something of that sort.....We used to have leftover sausage balls a lot from the parties that my parents had to take dishes to etc, in the week or so before Christmas. I've made them a couple of times a day or so earlier then we just reheated them.

I was thinking of posting that the limo and driver have the holiday off then I saw this. It's my beat up Caravan and me driving. No one else to assist....LOL Great minds....

It sounds like it could be a mild case of seasonal affected disorder- some people get depressed but only during the winter months. Maybe your body clock has to get reset and it takes a little time out. The stress you are feeling could be part of it too. I've been overly stressed the last couple of weeks and can't pinpoint 1 thing. I don't know the age of your kids but I let mine know (they are teens) that this year will be tighter (they know we've had some medical bills and papa has lots of prescription copays now) and that helped some that they aren't expecting huge piles of presents under the tree. I'm still real down but like you I know that it will pass--and if not I will talk to my pcp again. (I'm on meds but they might need tweeking).

Jeans or shorts and a t-shirt (would love a gottadeal shirt:)) maybe a long sleeve shirt if it's chilly.

If this was the zip code correction then I'm good.

Thanks for the heads up, mine is later in the month but I went and checked and sure enough it is about 5 days earlier..... That would have been a rude shock!

Mine are past the hot wheels phase, but I too will miss the Tide and the candy bars....

My envelopes are addressed, will start working on the cards at lunch tomorrow...

Our mail carrier is the pits and delivers to the big metal boxes in the neighborhood. We are lucky if we get our mail in one piece....

I agree with that one, let the whining begin!!! Or we could see who can do the most creative rap song for a shirt. That will let me out!

I take mine back and forth to work and use my lunch time for some of it. But is that any different from taking a piece of cross-stitch with a Christmas design and working on them in the waiting room at the doctors? They all think I'm nuts but have no idea how long it takes to do the piece....

Now I tend to buy the ones I like off itunes but I already had a stack of cd's from before I joined the MP3 era and sometimes there are enough that I like to make it worthwhile to either buy the cd or download the whole thing....

Got the card exchange list! Going to get busy addressing them tomorrow or MOnday evening so they will be ready for the end of the month!!!

I have 4 of the Bob Rivers CDs! I think I have at least 20 Christmas CD's, I like Trans-Siberian Orchestra also, I listened to Brad Paisleys Christmas CD a lot last year also, he's just easy to listen to....

My son was looking for the delta dragonoid which we lucked into at Target last Friday afternoon (they must have gotten a shipment earlier that day). By Sat am, the shelves were bare again. My Walmart on Sun am was well-stocked but I bet if I had gone back on Mon am it would be the same. My son likes to play with the toys but he doesn't care about the game, he makes his own stories up and battles his friends that way (future actor in my midst)

I've seen that one a dozen times, they play it a lot on Cartoon Network! Just what the kids need....And the Gingerbread ones are packaged in the Christmas Foil, you just have to address them to someone (I can't imagine breaking a box of pop tarts open and handing out gift wrapped pop tarts as a real gift to anyone I know).

They weren't my recipe but I loved them! Pretzel Turtles 24 small pretzels (traditional bow shaped) 24 Rolo candies 24 pecan or walnut halves Preheat oven to 300 F arrange pretzels on parchment paper lined cookie sheet place 1 rolo on top of pretzel bake for 4 minutes, while rolo is warm press nut on top of each candy. Let cool completly, cover in a air tight container

We always got an orange too, can't remember the pennies but there might have been some years. We always got nuts in them also, and we'd spend the afternoon cracking them and talking, playing with our toys.

The ornament is okay but I think any pretty ornament you find will be special because it comes from you! I think it's great that you are taking the time to do this. I've thought about it but with my own 2 and dh and work, I barely get anything else done.
