  1. I've lost enough weight that I think I can wear mine finally!
  2. Thanks Brad! I was starting to think you were being devious and making us wait til Labor Day!
  3. Started shopping already, picked up 3 portable hard drives from dell, just took advantage of the staples backpack offer and will use the gift card for BF or Christmas, son needed a decent backpack anyway...
  4. Mine arrived yesterday. FOrgot how much better the pics are on paper, lots of stuff I missed online...
  5. Of course. Been thinking about it for weeks. Watching my own Christmas in July marathon. Started off with Christmas vacation. Need to start putting more gift cards away. Been saving the ones I get with purchases but haven't bought as much as in past years...
  6. Really started thinking about Christmas on Jan 1 but when the countdown calendar on my screen hit 200 my mind really started into overdrive. Plus June was kind of sucky so I'm feeling the need to work on something more fun...
  7. Ipad would be for me also. My oldest wants a new xbox360. The way he plays, might actually happen... Youngest has no clue yet, he just got a touch for his bday and has a laptop... Hope some good games come out for wii and ds for him....
  8. I've been thinking about Christmas also, but it's big boy toys that I need to know about.... :)
  9. That's why I've started uploading and having them done elsewhere. I used to have the kodak dock/printer but unless you were doing the entire 10 pack at one time, the ink cart would dry out so I always had paper left...If I have to print at home now I used my officejet or the photosmart printer ( which can also do other regular print jobs...).
  10. Not familiar with the Polaroids but I've seen the printer and it looks interesting but the size might be limiting. I tend to use my printer at home or lately been uploading to Walgreens and picking up in store...With coupons it has been cheaper than buying the photopaper.
  11. Lots of good choices out there, I like the Nikon point and shoots but I have a 10mp kodak that I've had for several years. I know everyone puts down Kodak but I've had good luck with them and have several in the family. My original one was a little 5 mp model that was passed down a couple of years ago to a younger family member with a new baby and it's still in use also. My own personal desire is for an Olympus pen camera the EPL-1 I think, small body but interchangeable lenses. I wanted 35mm one before digital came out and they weren't even being made anymore in that format. Just don't have 600 bucks to put into one. Maybe when I hit my ultimate weight loss goal it will be my reward...
  12. Today's woot is the 32g 3rd gen ipod touch. 229.99+5.00 refurbed but I've never had an issue with one.
  13. If you want new not refurb, they don't usually drop the price, it's a giftcard combo type thing. Target has the 8g for 195.00 with a 20.00 giftcard. If refurb, 169.00 for the 8g on apple.com
  14. That is such a cool book, I had it in both french and english and read it to my boys.
  15. Refurbs on the touch are good, I wish this were week before last, Target had the 32g touch with a 25.00 target gift card. I got an early bday present for my oldest and put the gift card away for Christmas...:) You would have to find an iphone on ebay or somewhere where someone is selling one to avoid a contract from what I can tell. I just broke down and got a 16g iphone, decided I wanted one bad enough to sign a new contract (been with them since 97 so I'm not going anywhere, just like not to be tied down...)
  16. Target ad has the skullcandy earbuds for 14.99 this week, also giftcards with nano purchase if you haven't ordered those already...
  17. Talk to your insurance to see what they cover. Then if your dr writes the script be sure to go through and approved DME (durable medical equipment) provider. THere should be a listing on your ins cos. website.
  18. I personally love all the Kodak's I've had, currently using a 10mp model. I do agree, don't use their software, it's a memory hog and quite confusing. There are other programs out there for editing, etc...(oh, and the other Kodaks have been handed down or out to other family members-- my oldest, a little 5mp was the easiest thing to use, a 5 year old could definitely handle it).
  19. I was eyeing that same camera but I don't really need a new one right now. I have a 10mp kodak that has been great. I love Nikon and my old photo equip was Nikon. So I would say go for it.
  20. Have not ordered from this site ( or if I have I don't remember) but it was in my favorites and they list the shuffles, there is a purple 1g, I have a 2g but used to have a 1g so if it's for workouts it would work http://www.consumerdepot.com/pg_categories.asp?id=MPP&pagenum=3
  21. Do you mean the little shuffles that had the clip? I didn't see any on the Apple site. I have one of the purple ones and love it (despite having a classic as well). I usually put a selection of favs or Christmas tunes and then use it at work. Smaller to move around with and less hassles...discretion is a plus.
  22. Both of mine were thrilled with their laptops, was a little worried since I got 14 in but the screens are awesome and I'm ready to trade my netbook for one of them. Know what I will be saving for...LOL
  23. Christmas Vacation!!
