There are also some learning games, I saw Freddi Fish on Amazon. Actually thinking about getting one for a little one when they turn 3, the 2 older sisters already have them and are very good at working with lil sis on stuff...

Bought a refurb nook from the BN site on ebay, went back and got the 3g/wifi version for myself after Christmas, have been reading for days...... Couldn't tell it was refurbed except for the sticker as someone else stated. Both are working great, dh just doesn't want to use his, he's being obstinant.

Are you wanting a full length gown or a dress length. Roamans and Woman Within usually have some nice dressy stuff and as we go into spring they usually have something in white or off white.

Got a refurbed nook 3g and put a book on it last night, read about 90 pages so far, it's nice, better than I thought it would be. dh hates his, my youngest brother will probably get it...

Biggest hits.... Hmmm, the m&ms I gave my 2 brothers? My oldest son's 1T portable drive, my niece loved the jewelry I sent, in fact I think I've gotten the biggest thank yous from her. She finally also got her birthday gift in the same package, the pearls my dad started for me when I was just a little girl and he added the last pearls for my wedding. Don't have any girls of my own, so I sent them to her for her 18th bday in august, but my mom who was in charge of delivery kept forgetting them... So I got to talk to her on the phone last night right after she opened them and tell her how much they meant to me and how I thought my dad would be pleased to see her wear them. Other than that, the gift cards for the boys were the biggest hits, cuz they can get what they want.

I totally get the Blues after Christmas.... All the plotting and planning is done. In fact this year it started about 3 days before Christmas when I realized there was no last minute surprise to go get for someone. Miss the days when the boys were small and there was always something last minute to do... Guess I need to find new activities for the days just before Christmas.... At least until the boys find wives and give me grandbabies, not too soon on that I hope..LOL

My cats are giving gifts to all of us. I always have something for dh from them and he has done the same for me for the last 18 years (took a year to train him...). In fact the boys get gifts from their "brother and sister" as well.... I think you are normal.

I don't have a lot for the boys in their stockings, a couple of itunes cards, a starbucks card (only 10.00) a flashlight--running joke, and lots of candy. The candy is what mine seem to like anyway...

That's how the Chinese Buffet came about for us. We were at the restaurant a week or so before Christmas and saw the sign and I said that I thought that I would want Chinese food instead of cooking and the rest of the family agreed (my Mom and 2 brothers had met us there, might have been Mom's birthday). We had such a good time that we continued. Sometimes there is only a few, sometimes other relatives and friends come too...

For that tip, I'd sure be glad to refill your coffee, get you extra food, polish your shoes.

Chinese Buffet, no turkey, preferably seafood items or the mongolian bbq depending on location. Our favorite closed this year so we are having to find a new spot.

Hard to tell since I did it over a 6 month period, maybe around 500.00 for everyone including the 22 coworkers (goodie bags and secret santa stuff). Have bought stuff as I saw it in many cases, usually at a great price. Having teens made it a little easier in a way, they want cash which they are getting iou's for, will come from tax return as dh has been sick and bills have been high, but they have asked for portable hard drives and digital cameras which I bought as they were on sale.
