Christmas Vacation

Used to do sausage balls, would cook them the day before or even a few days before and freeze and then warm them in the oven. Might get the stuff and make some this weekend...

You can be my secret santa anyday!!! Don't know anyone on my team that would have complained about that gift!!
-
I find that a lot of people put down gift cards because we don't really know each other well. I have more fun on the days preceding (we do dollar type gifts for 4 days and then a 10-15 dollar gift on the last day). The sneaking around and plotting to get it on the desk without being seen is the fun part. Once again I drew someone that sits right across from me (2 years ago I was in a simialr position on a different team). SHe knows that I work ding to dong as a 10 hour person so I have to be crafty when I get it on her desk. Tomorrow I'm thinking of getting a senior from another team to bring it to her.

GottaDeal.com Holiday Giveaway: Post Deals & Win Prizes [Winners Posted!]
mgmckny replied to Brad's topic in Online Hot Deals
The odds are slim for me since I think I actually only posted 2 deals this entire season, too tired to stay up and blocked from most sites at work. But if I win, I will definitely PM you and will probably run around the house like Kevin in Home Alone (which would be worth the video on YouTube). -
Check Academy Sports too, they have a lot of stuff and prices seem to be reasonable.

GD Holiday Movie Tournament!!! Round 5!!!! The Final 4!!!!

1- Christmas Vacation 2- The Santa Clause -
If he's been in and out of foster care, anything you give him will be loved most of the time. Older brother used to do foster care for teen boys, he unofficially adopted one of them (he was out of the system due to age then), but when he arrived he had all kinds of clothes but nothing appropriate for school, and he loved that we took him shopping to Walmart for the stuff he needed, like gym clothes. (long story but it was my credit card so I had to be there). If you are giving him some gift cards, how about a new wallet, picture of the boys together since they are friends, is he still in school, does he need anything like a messenger bag or if he's out in the job world, how about a padfolio that looks polished, especially if he is job hunting soon...

Buy 2 multipacks of iTunes cards, save 10.00 at Best Buy
mgmckny replied to mgmckny's topic in Online Hot Deals
Best Buy has it with Guaranteed Christmas delivery and free shipping.... whereas Target only says coming soon, if you can get to a B&M then Target is the better deal, but if like me you are pressed for time, then it's a wash as Target is charging 1.99 shipping according to the front page so it is a penny cheaper and no guarantee of delivery for Christmas... I also had some 5 dollar BB gift cards from an itunes promotion last spring so I used them to buy more. -
Itunes 4 pack of $15 cards ($60 value) $48.00 @ Target.com

But the best buy deal was in stock online and it gives 6 smaller gifts. -
The trick seems to be that you have to do a holiday pack and a non holiday pack for the computer to register online but this is also a brick and mortar deal in their ad. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?type=category&id=pcmcat226600050008

Gamestop is reputable, have bought several refurbs from them.... Not to mention all the used games, have had only a couple of issues and they were solved quickly.

Basic wii systems at Dell, the red one is not as fast shipping but it shows the white and black in stock ready to ship, you will need extra controllers but the basic system comes with Wii sports so you have a game to start with. There are plenty of deals most likely on games over the next week.... http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/category.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&category_id=6667&~ck=anav

mgmckny replied to Scanner420's topic in 2010

What foods do you ALWAYS get asked to make during the holidays?
mgmckny replied to Angelseyes28's topic in 2010
PAPA’S BOURBON CRANBERRY SAUCE (Thanksgiving)***** 4 c cranberries ¼ tblsp ground cinnamon 2 c sugar ¼ c Jack Daniel’s Preheat to 350. Mix all together EXCEPT Jack Daniel’s, in a 9x13x2 inch, baking dish. Cover with foil and bake about 1 hour, stirring once. Remove from oven and stir in Jack Daniel’s. Refrigerate. Can be prepared 1 week in advance. This is so good that jeff (papa) has been known to eat peanut butter and cranberry sauce sandwiches..
