I will be in and out on THursday and Friday, cat sitting and doing some small shopping, picking up cherry board for my brother etc... I can help on the early part of the week in the evenings... work 10 hours Mon, Tues, Wed... But I will help out, might not want to give me a huge ad until I get the swing of it, Can take my netbook when I go to feed the kitties and give Woodie (he no longer answers to his orig name that we knew him by, long store there) his shot and I can log on while I sit there and as I said not going to be gone all day on either day.... Dump cakes are easy to do and can be done with various fruits, I love apple pie filling and cake mix... I've also heard them called fruit crisp and some people add granola on top with the cake mix...

I'm not as into it as I usually am. I think mine is all kinds of family stress and the fact that we all have wants but I'm trying to meet our needs.... Not as much fun buying for the needs. I think we will do more family things if I can get my grumpy oldest child to participate. I think the lights and sounds of Christmas are what I love the most. BUt I miss the old traditions, growing up every church choir performed the Messiah and then there was the candlelighting and caroling.... Getting old I guess..

Haven't shopped for books on BF, like you I do Amazon or Books a million. Now that the boys are older Amazon is great since a lot of the last minute stuff they deal me I can get (Mom I have to read such and such by next week and write a report..)

Yeah, I couldn't figure an economical way to send you a small fake tree. But if I figure out a way I will do it....

Shame there aren't any here in Florida, I would definitely go there, saw several decent items and prices for my meager list.

I'm 1 of 4 kids and a product of a stay at home mom. We didn't get a lot of what we asked for and we survived. My kids understand that with a stay at home dad due to disability that they won't get a lot of things they want. And with electric bills on the rise, not to mention the added fees and taxes thanks to our idiot mayor, they will get less than my best laid plans projected. But they will deal with that and being teens they understand although they still feel jealous when they see what others get...I can't keep it even, I do try to have a couple of things for each, socks and underwear a lot of times...

Due to space limitations we usually have a fake one, growing up we always had real. The boys have had 1 real tree, about 3 years ago and my youngest wants another. If I get one, it will be a live one as my tree in the front yard died this year. Got it from Publix after Christmas when the boys were small and it grew into a beautiful tree. Miss it a lot...

It was fun, I only stayed for a little while as I don't have a lot of BF questions this year, not a big list.... Will probably do it again on Sat as I enjoyed watching the chat, can't keep up with all of it.....Ended up signing out as I started developing a migraine from trying to keep up (probably already on the road to it though as I had been working on classwork for my online class for 2 hours before I signed in...). This is the only site besides facebook that knows me as mgmckny, I am Smartmomma or some variation of that name on everything else these days.

Probably not on the free shipping, what games are you watching for. Not sure that I will be doing much on BF but sometimes as it gets closer to Christmas the ds games are better, plus if you don't mind used there is a gamestop near me that I visit fairly regularly thanks to the boys....

My son was an early Christmas present dec 1 1993.... Hard to believe he will be 17 in a few short weeks.!

So far Walgreens might be the only stop I'll need since the kiddos want cash and I've already gotten something to go under the tree. I'm down to stocking stuffers and something for the secret santas I have... And some of that will happen before Black Friday this year too. And the jingle cash can be useful as I end up at my local Walgreens 2 or 3 times a week... (Plus I have 2 within a 2 mile radius... Shop at one then visit the other if I need more than the limits.)

Yeah, I saw the same stuff I bought last year in the ad...
