So if I have time I should drive to the northside to visit?? -
I think chivalry is dead in most cases, when I was younger with a baby in a stroller, the people in line with me at Target, cleared a path so that he wouldn't get trampled by the door crashers and people would hold things for me while I was getting other stuff. There are exceptions of course but for the most part, I say no. DH is in a wheelchair and he doesn't even like Walmart after 9am on a weekend, can't see him there on BF.
-
I didn't get to see all of it but it was a great webcast. I told DH when I returned his lappie for the night that BJS was first in line at BB for BF and he said, already??? DH doesn't get it, after 20 years of marriage....sad!

We went late in the day today, the people in the area around the meat were crazy, they were blocking the aisles with their carts, very odd, but the rest of the area was fairly easy to manoever through. Talked my brother into a Keurig for my mom..... Now I want one... ??????????????????/

Big Jim, did you answer Johnny La Rue's PM from earlier today? He needs someone to pick an item up at BB and I'm not camping out this year, even though I need a new lappie, mine crapped out today, using dh's for this week... Oh and there was no one in line at the Regency BB here in Jacksonville as of 6 pm... -
The L series is also a Coolpix, L stands for Life Series, S stands for style, AW = all weather and P is for performance, each have their pros and cons- the Life series seems to be longer zooms, uses AA batteries, tends to be a little heavier and bigger than the S series.

Yea, their online specials have not been amazing... Not that I have a lot of money to indulge but last year I did find some good deals before BF at the online and secret sales.

Yes, I will be there most of the weekend.... Last year I lived there while studying, drank a lot of coffee... :) -
We have that battery operated can opener that you put on the can and press the button, it works surprisingly well for an "as seen on TV" gadget. It's small enough for a stocking.

That's what I've decided to do for THanksgiving.....My publix makes a dinner that surprisingly didn't go up in price from last year.....I will add other stuff to it but pick it up Wed night and just reheat on Thursday. My issue is space to defrost the Turkey or store it if I buy it in advance, the big freezer is what I miss most from the old house. But no room in the apartment.
-
Nah, yours look nicer and they don't have any big sizes..... I'll keep holding out for the good stuff!

Four is plenty to start with, especially if one is the Zelda, it will take time to master... Plus there will be new games all year and he'll probably find some older ones as time goes on that friends will tell him about.

Are you wanting something pocket size? My son's little Nikon 4100 fits in a shirt pocket , there is a new version, I think S6100 that is getting good reviews, he is wanting to move to a more bridge type camera and is asking for the Nikon L120, looks more like an SLR but isn't, about $250 here in the us, good zoom, still struggles a bit in low light but a friend of his has it and it photographs well for sports, cosplay at anime conventions etc.

Christmas eve when I was growing up was finger foods and cheese balls etc. My mom would make a crockpot of 13 bean soup with chicken and good sausage in it, think kind of like a gumbo but no okra.. Since a lot of families are doing multiple dinners it was a way to not overload on turkey or ham. As we got older we started having seafood and meeting at a local restaurant for some local shrimp, etc. Now I tend to do a soup for my family or chili and finger foods, not a lot of extended family comes now, everyone is busy with their own and in-laws or jobs preclude the travel. A friend is italian and at Christmas does seafood but for THanksgiving they do a big lasagna instead of a traditional american turkey. Like a buffet this would be fairly easy, make a salad bar while the food is cooking or an antipasta tray or both and then Lasagna and desserts.

Not me. Still trying to figure out what to put on the apartment patio. It is screened so am thinking of maybe some icicle lights on the inside of the screen.......

I think there is a short 1 day only sale page missing, there are 11 pages and I think there should be 12. Maybe the missing candles are on that page...

Have an olympus and their lenses are good quality, not familiar with the model though. I have a DSLR, the Pen EPL-1, it's a small DSLR but it takes awesome photos, for long range I would definitely hold out for a good DSLR. Look for some reviews on the model though if that's the budget you have to work with and see if they can assist for what you are looking for.

If brad ordered them in my size I would be a walking billboard!
