Thinking I will be drinking hot tea (since it doesn't require sugar for me) and sitting at the computer also, will probably put 1 childs gift in layaway next week or so, that will help me enormously with the tight budget. Shame my oldest doesn't want a 3ds also... Dh and I will probably wait to see what my bonus looks like in March for anything big so I will have stockings to do and my mom and brothers, niece, etc...nothing big there. So my bf shopping will be a lot easier... Unless I win the lottery or something. :)

You and me both....Since I moved we have crappy reception and the batteries drain just sitting as the phones are trying to acquire signal. They want me to buy their microtower to get the service I already pay for. HUH?? Round two is about to occur and I'm asking to have the fees waived so I can port out.... Will be watching for some good deals on phones with other carriers...

Savings bonds, gift cards for future clothes, diapers, wipes. Mine were inundated with stuff from Grandmoms that had given up hope on grandchildren from dh and I. Wish they would have given us gift cards that we could use throughout the year as we outgrew stuff or needed something. Got way too many clothes, some were never worn when my younger son was born and then we got more...

Last years memories, sitting at Starbucks watching the ads and the people, trying to help Brad out with checking the online deals. Good times, got to hear other people's complaints, successes, etc, did some studying for my class and drank a lot of coffee... :) This year I might have to do some shopping, not sure yet.

If it has the exact same product number then it is possible, but a lot of the specials on BF, especially at Walmart have special SKU numbers. I would talk with the manager at your Walmart.

If the item is on sale thursday then yes, but most of the BF items won't be available at the special price until Friday.

Tinkerbel is correct, you have to plan an all nighter. For me, I'm fairly lucky this year, I have teen boys who don't have to have anything, they have wants but since they know my bonus is in March there is no gotta have anymore. Not like when they were little... I would like to find deals on itunes cards, etc although we may be changing wireless carriers as the signal here in the apartment sucks, have had bellsouth mobility/cingular/att forever but I feel a change acoming... just have to figure out if we want to take the hit on the efts or suck it up and move line by line... So I will be looking at phones probably. If you see a thread that deals with your hot items, stick to it and let us know so we can watch for things.. That's what I love about my Gottadeal friends.

The lists don't bother me, I use them to get a sense of the person, the better the list, the more I feel I know them. I hope I do good boxes. The ones I've gotten have been spectacular. Using my tennis shoe coffee cup at work now...

I know what you mean, I finally can listen to it again now, but for a long time I couldn't stand a lot of it (15 years of Retail). If it sounds like Musack I still can't abide it. Will probably start listening on Friday or next week during my OT, think I might be able to put some of it aside for the holiday...I hope.

I'm still looking for one.... would love an ipad but not in my budget unless someone gives me one.... yeah right!

Not sure that I will use it this year but I am glad to see it back. I might need a new laptop after all, this one is being stupid, it was a refurb and has been used hard, will see what the repair cost is versus another system...

Haven't had money to look, but if I can get one now thaat my money situation is improving, I will go for it...

I was there, more lurking, I am Smartmomma on ustream, really should consolidate user names..... I am some form of smartmomma on everything these days.... Oh well, GD was my first. It was a good dry run I thought. DH had a reaction in the middle of it so I ended it running back and forth. He has had 3 reactions this week, joys of being a brittle diabetic. Think some of it is being brought on by the upcoming move, he is trying to work on the stuff in his room and that is more activity than he is used to so his blood sugar suddenly drops. Glad the boys are well trained, they know what to grab, that's how I found out, ds14 suddenly is headed to dh's room with orange juice from our fridge (dh didn't tell us he didn't have any in the little frig by the bed where we keep his insulin). back to topic, now I'm ready for the build up to BF.

I will try to make it, if I'm not exhausted from garage sale and packing to move...
