  2. you could have your husband sneak in the house and hijack her picture albums while you have her out. then make copys of the pictures you might find useful to make a nice scrap book for her with the copies. we did this for my mother once making a this is your life type thing for her and my father on their anniversary. she loved it. the main thing is to get the original pics back into the album and back to her. kathy

http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/tutlist?list=aa13_list_full.html&view=aa13_view_full.html&ctn=HDD082/17&dct=TUT&slg=ENG#i just did a google with the product # from the ad and found this great web site that shows everything about the player.. its a tutorial on how this player works. from what i can see you can download cd's, listen to radio, download songs off windows media and record your voice. i think i can handle this one. kathy
  12. I just get up and go myself.. i usually am happy to run into my friend kate already in the line so we chat it up while waiting then we say see ya good luck.. i would hate to have to hunt someone down in that mess when your all done.. if i did go with someone i would definatly take the 2mile walkie talkies with me. i used those on my kids when i was just starting to trust them to go off in the store without me. kathy
  13. dont forget if you have a pop button in the car to the trunk to make sure you lock the car doors too or anyone could just reach in your car and pop the trunk open. kathy
  14. i have to go on an all out hunt today for my black book.. i moved in june and cant find anything still.. im keeping everythin on paper til i find the little bugger. kathy
  15. i love it on the carpeted steps.. it is just the right size and lightweight ..perfect for the job. i have the Eureka the boss one. thats what the ad looks like to me. i think the handles break easy so be carefull with that..mine is duck taped as we speak but i love it. i cant find a good pic of it to post but i bet its the boss. kathy I want this to be my son http://www.bissell.com/images/Products/3601-M.gif
  16. I have a journal type book.. its really fun to go back a read.. my older two get a kick out of reminessing over the toys that were out back then. kathy
  17. thats a great idea.. i usually buy a ton at joblot they always have 6 packs for .99 of rayovac batteries, big lots cheap too. And i have never had trouble with them.. but i did buy some at a dollar outlet store and they stunk.. lasted about three songs in the cd player. everytime i go from now til then i will pick up one or two packs.. notice the big demand is for the double and triple A batteries these days? it used to be D and C's were the ones you need the most. kathy
  18. Do you guys write in a journal the things you buy for who etc..? i started doing this in the 80's and it is really fun to look back and see what you gave people.. it also heelps when you try to remember what you got someone last yr so you dont repeat the same gift.. this is how i'm able to wrap everything early and keep track of what i have too. anyone else do this? kathy
  19. I wrap them myself as soon as i get home..i put on the bows etc on christmas eve.. they get too squished in the bags if i put them on now. kathy
  20. I'n not picky either...any ad will do to squash the hunger for an ad..
  21. never got anthing free yet..but might make that my goal this year just for fun.. kathy
  22. I havent had too yet but i sure would dread it if someone asked . especially for a giant item.. kathy
  23. whoops guess i misunderstood the post...lol i thought you were talking about hiding an item in the store, and going back for it later.. no i have never lost stuff in the house yet. i keep it in trash bags in the closet in my room. the kids assume its blankets being stored.
  24. no i didnt forget but i was amazed it was gone...lol i put this fancy barbie once way in the back of an olympic barbie that never seemed to sell.. i smuggly went to the back to get it the next day and it was gone! i was shocked cause the olympic ones were like the last ones you would pick. i was bummed. kathy
  25. What comforts do you bring with you to stand inline at the sales? I learned to bring gloves and a winter coat the hard way freezing the first yr. I think i will bring a pocket flashlight this yr. it wasnt easy seeing the store map in the dark. Oh and coffee is a must. but not too much so you dont have to "Go"... so what do you bring? kathy
