thanks everyone for the info i was pretty sure that is how it works. so they can download their cds onto the computer and then upload them onto the mp3 player? I think i will be picking one of the walmart ones up BF now.. make that two of them. kathy

Just wondering if anyone here has ever gotten in line first? If so what time did you arrive? kathy

walmart is 5 mins up the street and toysrus is almost across the street so i dont get up til 4 and im there by 4:30 in line way way across the parking lot.. i may go for earlier this yr. if it opens at 5 what time to you think the first one to get there arrives? kathy

I buy a bag of lawn and leaf trash bags to keep in the trunk for xmas shopping. then i put everything inside the trash bags and haul it in the house. no one can see inside. then after i wrap stuff i put it right back in those trash bags and tie them shut so they have to be cut open. they are all ready to be hauled downstairs christmas eve. right now i have two big bullitin boards wrapped and they are right behind the couch the kids sit on everyday..lol they will never notice. kathy

do you ever use other sales papers at the walmart store..? They compair and give you the sale for the same price. You have to have the ad with you to get it and it has to be the same name brand. Last yr Or the yr before i used a best buy ad for a 19.99 sale for a 49.00 ps2 game at walmat. the guy was in shock but he had to do it and he did with out a hassle..saved me a 35 min. ride.. kathy

I usually do walmart first also. i think last yr i ended up doing walmart , then toysRus then kmart.... kathy

MP3 players Can someone explain how these work? and whats the difference between them and an Ipod? im still in the dark ages and need help with these new fangled items...lol i have teens who want them. kathy

we dont have 24hr ones around me. I usually get in line outside with all the other freezing to death people and wait. they have police in front of the store and its all roped off so no one that isnt in the line can cut it. they also give out "maps" to where all the treasures are in the stores. I do toys last because its crazy nuts in that department. although i will be heading for the sewing machine and stick vacs first. i found the clothing sections were the least crowded in the beginning. so i did that while the other stuff is being mauled over. kathy

I'm liking the sewing machine, and i decided wouldnt it be nice for each kid to own a colorful stick vac for their rooms... those work great i have one.. the portable dvd players are great.. i bought them last year and they come in so handy at doctors and dentists.. the one i got had head a phone jack. i can actually read a magazine at appointments now its great..those cheap choppers for 4 + dollara are great. i bought one a few yrs back and its still going. they chop onions and garlic well with out dirtying the big processor for an onion or two. might do the crock pots they had. im undecided still on that one. cheapest i have ever seen those sewing machines is 89.99 im definatly scoffing one of those up. kathy

ha ha i know what your saying...i have to tell myself there is thanksgiving to think about here.. i think this site has been good for me because it is slowing me down a bit from spending.. im seeing all that stuff i need to wait for out there in the ads..for that im greatful,, i am about 1/2 way done with my shopping already. kathy

I know what you mean.. I hit there a few weeks ago when they had the buy one get one game sale.. I found killer buys in the green tag clearance while i was there. they were giving 50% off the lowest green tag price i made out like a bandit on them. I still need to get over to khols to see if they have the charlie brown stuffed animals and books i heard about on another web site for $5.00.. I need to make that a priority this week.. thanks for the TRU tips. kathy

I'm usually out for certain things too and home dragging butt by 9 am.. such fun though.. i just joined in on this madcap shopping a couple of years ago.. i never realized how fun it is. kathy
