I wrap 95% of my stuff too.. i buy either the 50' rolls for $1.00 at the dollar store or the $1.99 rolls of 100' at job lot every yr. ocean state job lot has a pretty good selection. kathy

im glad i found this site ..last yr i was near death because we didnt recieve the walmart flyer here.. i was going mental.. they didnt have them at walmart before either..they were giving them out at the door on the way in and it was causing people to stall in the doorway looking.. i did get my hands on one from another town that my daughter got in the mail. I dont know many personally willing to get out that early either but its okay i work best on my own. i dont want to be looking for anyone in the store.. i can leave when im done etc. but i do like meeting up in separate cars and standing in line together. kathy

I usually have the 3 month luckk I bought new washer and dryers in june and just now got the free 3months supply of tide coupons that was offered with it.. two normal jugs of tide they consider 3 months supply kathy

i never make them wear things they dont want to. she liked the shirt it was mainly a plain white tee shirt with maybe 1 1/2 - 2" lettering written in cursive "spooktacular" in black lettering. she actually liked it and not one kid teased her. they like it too.kathy

jeans and a summer shirt so i can tollerate the winter coat when i get into the store.. kathy

I wrap it and put it in trash bags tied so tight you have to rip them to open them. then i stuff them in closets all over the apartment. my favorite is right in the kids closets...they never know..i will get them out of there during the day shortly before christmas when the kids are out and hide them in my room. and call my room off limits for that time frame. kathy

mine wasnt too bad but... i got there late..4:30 and there were no carriages in site. then i saw them way over by the garden shop.. so i walk over there not to mention i was in line 3-4 stores away..totally in the other parking lot.. when i finally get over there the kid/walmart carriage cop says"no you have to get one on the side of the building" I was so ticked off he couldnt just give me one.... thats the extent.. havent had any reall juicy things happen yet. kathy

I like the hunt too..did you ever try to go around the maze of people to get to an item...lol i have tried short cuts to beat the line.. i have done this and failed and had to go all around again and i have suceeded at other times..its fun.. i also like directing other hungrey for the sale item people to the item if i already have it.. the whole thing is just fun... except lugging it all in when you get home. kathy

i overspend yup..once you start its hard to change it. thats why: Kriss you should think hard whether you want to start up the over spending tradition..its not easy to give less from santa when they have gotten alot..food for thought anyway.kathy

gee i'm not sure. i didnt buy any but what a great idea. they were all the old horror movies that they had when i was a kid on saturday afternoon creature double feature.. ones like "the brain that wouldnt die" "haunted mansion" etc. etc. when i went the halloween stuff wasnt 30% off so i'm not sure. let us know if you find out. kathy

I got my son a halloween tee shirt to wear to school tomorrow for $2.49 its a vampire on the front and it says "I'm your biggest Fang" I got my DD(13) a plain white tee that has the words "spooktacular" written in black web looking print for $5.25. they had tons of smaller kids ones also for 50% off...thought it would be fun to wear to school. kathy

i do some of them. The only thing my DD is dying for is a giant candy cane.. she is 13 and looks forward to that huge cane in there evey yr. kathy

I got the cartoon network guys the other day too for the $2.48 also.. good deals there. alot of halloween masks,dvds and cds were in the dollar bin. kathy

I have to go see if ours has them. i love the magic eraser..it is magic... try the eraser on your refridgerator it cleans it excellent. i had marks on mine i couldnt get off till i applied some magic... lol kathy

I bought this for my kids last christmas and they really loved it. they were 10 and 12 at the time. kathy

I cant remember where i saw this but. you use pipe cleaners and red and white beads that are kind of snowflake or star shaped. its the easiest project ever and fast. you just put them on a pipe cleaner with a knot at the end and go red/white red/white then shape it into a cane. here is a picture i found through google.. http://image.orientaltrading.com/otcimg/48_137.jpg?resize(350x350)
