  2. I think he'd rather see them in the DW/GF/SO stocking, quite honestly. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Yes/10.gif
  3. With the "OFFICIAL" thread from Brad now up, I'm going to close this thread... Please continue your discussion here: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=88277
  4. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Yes/plus1.gif Our Staples had tickets this year (finally). It was great... My wife and I chatted with two college-age guys behind us in line who had armfulls of stuff. We let them put their stuff in our cart (on top of our stuff), which they REALLY appreciated. All ticketed items were behind the Customer Service desk (except for laptops and towers, they had to get those out of lockup). Staples really doesn't have a lot of room for lines (ours at least). Bring a buddy, grab a cart, have the person with the cart get in line and the other person act as a "runner".
  5. My wife is dying to go... One of her coworkers' mother went to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Supposedly the deals will be getting better...
  6. Go here: http://forums.gottadeal.com/index.php?styleid=12
  7. Depends on the vehicle I guess. We just rode in a friend's minivan in the last row of seating and could hear "Jack" on the Garmin Streetpilot c550 attached to the front windshield as long as someone wasn't talking (there were 6 of us in the minivan).
  8. It has to be one with a digital card reader -- not all of the digital photo frames have that feature, but most newer models will. Wow, you drive a hard bargain -- they're basically small LCD monitors -- they probably won't hit $30 till next year. The best deal I've found is the 7" at PepBoys for $39.98 after rebate. If you are one of the first 50 people in line at 5 am, you'll get a $10 gift card -- that would make it $29.98 AR. So there you go.
  9. That's one of the benefits of being a mod -- always being able to have the last word! http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Tease/N1nananananaHL2.gif
  10. I could duel myself I guess... http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Fight%20Hit/duel.gif Here's the thread you are thinking of: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=44069 Their deals went http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Non-Smiling/Flushed.gif once they got rid of the MIRs. I went there last year and bought a bunch of those $1.99 64-CD binders but I may not even go this year.

  12. Early store gets the cash, I guess. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Goodnight/yawn.gif Our local JCP became a JCP Outlet about 4 years ago, so no JCP shopping for me (on BF at least).
  13. I've ordered from Newegg at least 25 times in the past 4 years. They're just tops! http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Congratulations/clap.gif Newegg http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Congratulations/clap.gif
  14. Ace, Pep Boys, Target, Best Buy, you name it...

  16. Pick a store... every store has at least one up for sale on BF.
  17. The hot door-busters (the 5 hour deals) will have tickets and it's one-per-customer. Two-day sale items you can buy as many as you can grab. Depending on where you live, 5-6 pm might be too late.
  18. None of the stores are selling the 3rd edition at BF prices from what I gather. The TomTom One LE at Best Buy will be a compromise between the standard and the 3rd edition. Apparently it will be a BB exclusive. EDIT: We now have ads listing the 3rd edition... We didn't when I made the above statement.
  19. Support is one thing, but a 32-bit Windows OS will never, ever see or utilize all 4 GB of RAM: http://vistaclues.com/reader-question-32-bit-vista-memory-limits/ A more practical measurement is 2.75 - 3.25 GB of useable RAM when 4 GB is installed.

    outlet stores ????

As always, as soon as Brad has something he'll post it. We had the Black & Decker Outlet deals in 2005, but not in 2006. It all depends on what gets leaked and what doesn't. Heck, we had Spencer Gifts circular back in 2005!!! http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=86220
  21. Awwwww, but despair.com is having a big holiday sale: http://www.despair.com/lithographs.html
  22. Officemax = little fish in a big pond.
  23. Ones like these (but these are spoofs): http://thefuntimesguide.com/images/blogs/unique-poster.jpghttp://www.trizle.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/motivator2705629-thanksflickmotivator.thumbnail.jpg They sell them online, but with a deadline as short as yours you could try poster & print shops at a mall and/or office supply stores. I'm not really certain about the office supply stores...
  24. Prices all seem to be "off brands". It'll be hit-or-miss to find reviews. You could try Googling for the model number plus the word review. Yeah, I remember prices being $129 - $199 last BF.
