  3. Me three! I have at least three aging laptops...
  4. There's one 10 minutes from me and I don't go...
  5. I haven't. Here's their Reseller Ratings reviews: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/DealExtreme Apparently, they ship from Hong Kong so shipping can take a while.
  6. Is there a Black & Decker Factory Store near you? http://www.blackanddecker.com//Where-to-buy.aspx (scroll down, way down...) We have one 15 minutes away -- their deals can't be topped! But their stuff is electrical or battery-operated, not sure exactly what you need.
  7. Monitor technology doesn't change as fast as computers need to be upgraded. Many people already have a monitor that can be used for a new computer.
  8. The OP is looking for a laptop, I believe.
  9. hannahs_momma -- I'm going to throw this out there: Geeks.com has a refurbished single-core 1.5Ghz Toshiba Tecra laptop w/Windows XP Home for $379.99. Be certain to read the descriptions here: http://www.geeks.com/pix/2007/TECRAM2-1B.html And make sure you are OK with the "Grade B" refurbished description here: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=TECRAM2-1B If you aren't happy with the "Grade B" laptop you receive, I'm sure you could return it and just be "out" the shipping. I will say that while it's not "new", it is a Tecra, which is Toshiba's business class of laptops. Be aware that this is a single-core laptop and it has a standard-format (not a widescreen) monitor. Also, if you do buy it, you may want to upgrade the RAM to 1GB.
  10. Yes, but you'd have to hook it up to a computer that had a TV tuner.
  11. An early Happy Birthday, and I just had to say that I drag my wife out on BF. She'd sleep in if it was up to her!
  12. There is the Gottadeal Lite theme (with virtually no graphics). You can select it by choosing the drop-down button when you are logged in...
  13. Don't forget amazon.com!
  14. I would think it would be good to have headache medicine and pepto with you.
  15. "Second tier" GPS units: (for lack of a better description) Handheld Units:

  17. Is there a VF Outlet Village near you? http://www.vffo.com/VF_stores.htm I don't see one in North Carolina, but I don't know how close you are to the Villages in Virgina, Tennessee or South Carolina. We have a Village about 15 minutes from our house. Their deals are pretty tough to beat on Lee & Wrangler, and Nautica (does Nautica make women's stuff?). They also have a coupon for $10 off $100: http://www.vffo.com/coupon.aspx
  18. It might help folks to know what type of jeans you are looking for: men, women, boys, girls? regular sizes or plus sizes? online deal or offline deal (at a store)? style of jeans you are after -- distressed jeans, standard jeans, carpenter jeans, etc.? The more details you provide, the more likely you are to get a usable answer.
  19. Just an FYI for people who read this thread... These offers are regional based on your zip code -- don't feel slighted if someone found a great deal on "item a" but it's not available in your area.
  20. I just looked through the thread: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=47312&page=2&highlight=Meijer It looks like 11/13/06. I'll update the list the OP.
  21. They take forever to ship...
  22. Glad I could help! http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Bananas/thtumbling-carrot.gif
  23. Speaking of iPod Shuffles, when the 2nd generation first came out, there was a writer who put it through stress tests. The only thing that killed it was driving over it with his car: http://arstechnica.com/reviews/hardware/shuffle.ars/2 http://media.arstechnica.com/reviews/hardware/shuffle.media/IMG_4363.jpg Even dropping it 40 feet couldn't kill it. I have a 2nd Gen. Shuffle by the way...
  24. Look here: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/2006.txt
  25. Newegg.com is $.11 more ($129.99) shipped to your house: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16855125017&Tpk=SDMX4-8192
