Right, but remember, a ticket is not a contract or a guarantee. If you don't pick it up within the first 60-90 minutes or so of the store's opening they may give "your" laptop to someone else. I'm 99% sure that was what jlouie was trying to say...

This year's BB BF ad says that they will start handing out tickets at 3 am. It's on the first page, about midway down.

Radio Shack will have one on BF for $49.99 (and a really nice one for $99.99).

Because "Freedom of the Press" does not apply to privately-owned deal sites.

We were there at 5:30, were about 12th in line and got everything I wanted (BUT, I wasn't after a laptop).

I have never, ever received any spam from a Easy Rebate. Did you only ever use this e-mail address for the Easy Rebate, or have you used it for this purpose? (or given it out to someone else?) At any rate, you can use http://www.temporaryinbox.com to manage any site that requires you to give an address and you can turn it off at any time.
