  1. Are you sure? They seem to be all over: http://pepboysstorelocator.shoplocal.com/pepboys/store_finder.aspx?action=storefindernuep
  2. http://pepboysstorelocator.shoplocal.com/pepboys/store_finder.aspx?action=storefindernuep No, hence the name "doorbusters". You can order sale items online, but not time-limited doorbusters.
  3. These are my patterns from the days when I worked for my parents company (1997-98): http://www.critterpat.com/item.php?item_id=244 http://www.critterpat.com/item.php?item_id=323 I made two samples of each, including the "cover" quilt.
  4. ebay? Any particular kind of cotton? broadcloth, athletic knit, drapery, etc.?

    Employee "tickets"?

  6. How about Sears? There are a few in Sears' BF ad. http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/BlackFridaySales/Store/Sears -- you may have to advance a few pages... Also, with the growing popularity of these units, I'm sure that BB, CC, Staples, OD, and OM will all have units on sale. You can go to www.cnet.com for reviews. Did you have a price range in mind? I'm in the market for one too and I'll keep my eye out.
  7. Here's an extremely in-depth review of the TomTom One: http://www.gpsmagazine.com/2006/09/review_tomtom_one.php?page=1 Five pages (with plenty of pics) and 6 pages of reader comments. Bear in mind that when the review was done, it retailed for around $400 -- the bargain basement price of $139.98 should put things in a different perspective.
  8. Long time, no see! http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Hello-Bye/wavesmile.gif Go here and catch up: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=85490 Brad will post the Wal-Mart ad on 11/19. I'm going to go ahead and close this thread to prevent this from becoming another Wal-Mart thread. If you have further questions, post them in the thread I linked to.
  9. And here's a video about that TomTom One: http://reviews.cnet.com/car-gps-navigation/tomtom-one/4505-3430_7-32026663.html Sounds like the TomTom One is a good unit unless you are buying it for the Points of Interest finder.
  10. Anyone have an idea of which Mio GPS unit that is? "Digiwalker" is their line of GPS units, not a particular model.
  11. How about this:1,000 vs. 2,000 songs 3,500 vs. 7,000 iPod-viewable photo 4 hours vs. 8 hours of video
  12. http://www.shoes.com/ugg/ It's tough to beat FREE shipping, FREE returns, and 115% price guarantee. You can use OCTSAVE for $15 off $100 or more, but the coupon expires 11/05/07 (TODAY!) I haven't ordered from Shoes.com, but my parents have. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Bananas/thfa781edd.gif

    Employee "tickets"?

And the cashier that was scanning a slip by her register instead of the ones the OP had was probably helping a friend of hers get more credits...
  14. I was between a Lenovo laptop and the HP laptop that I did buy -- both because of the OEM docking options offered. In the end, I did go with the HP, due to past positive experience. I posted a thread on another forum asking about Lenovo. Most people wrote back that while quality is high, it is not quite as high as it was when IBM ran the show. That was for opinions of laptops, but desktops should be similar. You can also search on Cnet for reviews: http://reviews.cnet.com/desktop-computers
  15. Hi Ruth -- I don't know how familiar you are with www.newegg.com but they have 30 desktops running Windows Vista Business starting at $399.99 (plus $19.74 s/h). http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=Property&Subcategory=10&Description=&Type=&N=2032280010&srchInDesc=&MinPrice=&MaxPrice=&PropertyCodeValue=1413%3A27355 Newegg is great -- I've been ordering from them for 5+ years. They have laptops running Windows Vista Business too if you'd rather.
  16. I don't have any answers for you either, just a link to Palm's Web site: http://www.palm.com/us/products/handhelds/ They do a great job of explaining the differences between their models so you can figure out which one to get. Depending on your needs, you might consider a Palm Treo cell phone: http://www.palm.com/us/products/smartphones/index.html
  17. From and including: Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 1:42:48 PM To, but not including : Friday, November 23, 2007 at 6:00:00 AM The duration is 19 days, 16 hours, 17 minutes and 12 seconds
  18. I could mail you coupons from my Entertainment book, but they wouldn't get to Texas by Tuesday.
  19. Precisely why I only go to OM, OD and Staples!
  20. Will you be picking up the car from an airport? (for instance, Enterprise only seems to have non-airport locations). Do you know what rental car companies are available from where you are picking up the car?
  21. You can make your own smilies here: http://www.frostjedi.com/terra/scripts/graemlin.php (NOTE: the smiley generator creates smileys in .png format -- you'll need to convert them to .gif format using Irfanview, Gimp, etc. -- then you'll need to upload them to your Photobucket.com or other photo hosting account).
  22. By not getting the Shuffle, I am assuming that you want an Apple Nano: http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/ (They're $199.00) If you belong to a Sam's Club (probably BJs and Costco too) they have them for about $184. Apple products don't go on sale. But Best Buy has been running a special every so often that will allow you to buy the iTunes music cards for 20% off if you buy an iPod at regular price. The other route is to buy a refurb from Apple. http://tinyurl.com/2rp2pw BUT, and this is a big BUT -- be careful, the previous generation of iPod Nanos have a smaller screen and don't play video files. Just music. And they're a different size overall....
  23. I have bought cables and outdoor speakers from Accessories 4 Less, http://www.accessories4less.com
  24. I've been told that at our W-M, they can't get people to show up for their shifts. Apparently, it's nothing to be short 3+ cashiers, or have just 1 person working the deli meat/cheese/prepared foods counter.
  25. If you only have a few items and none of them need to be weighed (like produce), you can go to the Electronics section or the Tire Dept.
