  1. Last year my group brought a tent, and I'm so happy we did, it was really cold out side(I live in Wisconsin) and the when we went in the tent It was nice and warm. We put a sleeping bag on the bottom of it so we were not sitting on the cement sidewalk under us. We even played a game of monopoly in the tent. Right before tickets were being handed out we took the tent down and put it in the car. The last hour of waiting without a tent sucked, because we were cold. I was wondering if anyone else had a positive/negative experience with a tent?
  2. What do you guys think of the HP laptop vs. other BB laptops(the sony).
  3. The adapter would be for the printer(I think) but does the sony laptop have bluetooth? If it doesn't you'd need an adapter for both.
  4. I'm not sure the specs on Madden, but i'd assume it migt run slow, really the only difference between the $399 and the $499 is the hard drive space. Only thing that could make your gaming experience better is to upgrade the RAM in the computer from 1GB to 1.5 or 2GB. But madden should run with the 1GB. Only thing is your battery life will go down quickly if your gaming.
  5. World of warcraft will run pretty well on the $400 BB BF laptop.
  6. They run sales at CC and BB about once every few months(now none of these laptops are going to be on par with the Sony). Also http://www.newegg.com/ has good deals on laptops.
  7. I believe if you going to do basic movie editing this will work fine, I have 3 suggestions though: 1. Movies files are generally big, meaning you might want to look into getting the 160gb hard drive. 2. Theres only 1GB of ram that comes with it, the more RAM you the smoother video editing will go, I would recommend upgrading to 2gb of memory(You may not need 2Gb but it depends completely on what you are doing with the video/what type of video it is/how long the video is. 3. The laptop doesn't come with video editing software so unless you want to use the Windows Vista movie maker you'll have to buy some too, just make sure it works with Vista before you buy it.
  8. I would say yes, it will easily surf the net, type docs, burn cds, and upload pictures. Only thing is you could probably get a laptop that will do that for around the same price as a non BF sale. The Sony is good brand and it has decent specs, it can do more than what you need, even some mid range gaming if you like that kind of thing.
  9. hmm this looks like the same picture could this possibly be it? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8470031&type=product&id=1184768698737
  10. Haha, I agree the anti virus and Laptop bag are POSs but I could use a printer, does anyone know the model number on the printer?
  11. haha, I didn't read that well that makes its easy I'm going for the upgraded model
  12. Yeah, ill most likely buy the upgraded model(160gb) as long as I can tell them I can install the anti virus myself:)
  13. The Toshiba for 799.99 is probably the best for gaming of the BB Black Friday laptops, mostly because of the core2duo processor and 2gb ram. Its got a 17" screen so that means the battery life wont be great. It wont play Crysis or anything like that, but it will run most games.
  14. But really you really should be using that much ram on this laptop.
  15. oh yes I was thinking of XP 32bit, anyways the Sony laptop doesn't support more than 2gb anyways.
