The price changes earlier than midnight on many items (applies to all stores), which is why some find at midnight that items are sold old. Put in your cart at various stores, then keep checking your cart around 4 pm, and every hour thereafter. Strange, but true. Some doorbusters will be available, but not the hot, hot items.

I am unable to access any of these ads for some reason. I've tried saving, but get an error about the source file every time, with ever ad. Any ideas why?

Yep, that is what I did last year too. Put it in your cart early and keep checking for the price update. It works for all online stores too.

I've had no experience with the laptops, but DD's $179 doorbuster E-Machine desktop works better than any computer I have ever owned. lol

I don't know about the ones at CVS, but last year we got a couple from Kohl's and they are great!

Old Navy at 11 for midnight opening. Taking mom so she can get in line while I quickly grab some stuff. Walmart between 1am and 2am to check out the cheap DVD selection and pick up a couple of items (only if I don't get them online earlier in the day). Mom going to Sears at 4 am to pick up a couple of doorbusters. I'm going to Target at 4 am to check out the cheap DVD selection and pick up a few items. Go home and pick up DD for breakfast at Ihop, then off to swim team practice and/or soccer tournament. Get home and bake cookies, play Christmas music, and begin decorating.

I have the exact same plan. Sis is going this weekend to get a pin number for her card to send to me. :-)

Yep. As soon as you toss something into your cart, you have to check out immediately. Then continue shopping. Great thing this year is with free shipping, it doesn't cost more to do it this way.

She'll love it and will be busy with it all Christmas day. The touch is one of the gifts that I do not regret buying for DD as she gets so much use out of it. (and my mom too when DD is at school, lol)
