holly2hottie Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Hi Everyone!!! I know that not every Area/State has Lego stores. For those that do, What deals are there on Black Friday? Thanks so much!!!
bpr Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 We don't have a store near us:(. Online I don't remember seeing anything, maybe free shipping.
vsa3janes Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Now this is one store my son in law would stand in line at. He collects StarWars legos and has went to many extremes to get the new releases.
camsmom Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 My husband would too! We have one about an hour away, so please anyone who has this info PLEASE post!!
Deal Grabber Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Now this is one store my son in law would stand in line at. Rockfordmom Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 I read on another website that Walgreens will have the following items free after Register Rewards on Black Friday (thurs - sat). That means that someone somewhere saw an ad! Dove Smooth Deodorant $3.99 get $3.99 RR Johnson’s Melt Away Body Wash $4.99 get $4.99 RR Nivea Men’s Shave Gel $2.49 get $2.49 RR Right Guard Solid $2.49 get $2.49 RR
jenna8110 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Do these store do Black Friday? Is it worth venturing in the mall to find out? Thanks! Oops, spelled it wrong!
momlori Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 American eagle does until about 10am. Usually some good prices on clothes if you know what you are going for.
PerkynPunctual Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I've found that the deals in these three tend to be better starting the day after Christmas. My kids have gotten gift cards from relatives the past few years and end up getting a ton of stuff on clearance right after the holidays.

TonyaRN1 Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 WOW! Thanks for the tip on the Lego stores. I have already checked out the website and "made a list". My son LOVES lego's.
bpr Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 ToysRus has had a few Star Wars LEGO deals in the last few years for BlackFriday. My son got the MTT from Episode 1 for around $60, normally $100. The same with the Star Destroyer, but it was at Target.
mesarobins Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Time to start keeping an eye open for coupons on those items to sweeten the deal.
wx4svr Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I've found that the deals in these three tend to be better starting the day after Christmas. My kids have gotten gift cards from relatives the past few years and end up getting a ton of stuff on clearance right after the holidays.I ALWAYS go to Abercrombie, Hollister, and AE on BF and the Day after Christmas. All 3 have AWESOME sales on both days. Express does good sales on the Day after Christmas as well. Pac Sun (if your into that crowd) is good on BF as is Hot Topic (which kinda scares me)
jenna8110 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Thanks guys! I'll try the day after Christmas. I REALLLY didn't want to step foot in the mall BF anyway!
KrystalMae1231 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Does anyone know if any of Build a bear stores do anything for Black Friday? My daughter is big into BAB this year and not sure if I should buy early or wait to see if they have a BF sale.
musicalkarasel Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Does anyone here understand the register rewards? Does that mean that those items are free?
berry1014 Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 After you pay for the items you get a coupon (register reward) for for X amount off you next order.
arci122 Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Give me an ad soon, and no one will get hurt (unless they stand still in the doorway on BF)
AndreaInNC Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 if you aren't used to Wags Register rewards - just be sure to note the date they expire. They normally are only good for a 2 week time frame.
kimberness Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I was wondering if BB&B sends out a BF flyer or sale paper? Do they open early also?
lot-narth Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I don't remember if I'm right on this, but I think the last two years they give a 20% off coupon like the normal ones they have but instead of for just one item it was for entire purchase.
freesia39 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Last year's thread: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=125839&highlight=bed+bath Maybe I should make a note to see if they participate. Probably won't be anything huge though.
speeddiva Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 There was one opened in Fort Wayne, IN today....does anyone have any BF experience with them? Their ad said they will match any competitor so I'm hoping that they may be an alternative to WM & BB.
pogiporkchop Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 I don't have BF experience with them, but the one experience I do have was absolutely horrendous. Couldn't deliver a washer and dryer on time and then it was the WRONG dryer. Then the salespeople gave me a hassle when I went to complain and tried to sell me something else... I said to just give me a refund and I have not been back in one since (almost 8 years).
Brad Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Got this today: Ace Hardware Corporation is pleased that so far in 2009 your site has not posted any Ace ads. We are writing to reinforce the directives and warnings we shared with you in 2008 regarding your posting on your website of any Ace ads without our consent. You may recall that last year we objected to the posting by GottaDeal.com web site of a preliminary proof of an Ace Hardware circular advertisement intended for the weekend after Thanksgiving 2008. We objected to your posting because Ace had not publicly released that ad and its content was not yet final. The submission of that ad to you represented a breach of a confidentiality obligation of your source and your publication of it was an act of copyright infringement that could have resulted in Ace taking legal action against all parties involved, including but not limited to the issuance of a subpoena under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act for identification of your source. Please be advised that the approach summarized above continues to be Ace’s position regarding third-party postings/disclosures of any Ace ads. Ace is committed to truthful and accurate advertising. When our 2009 After Thanksgiving Day ad is finalized and released for print in early November, our Advertising department will be more than happy to supply you with the final, approved copy if you provide us with a timely written request.
amberjobryant Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Wow can't believe that they jumped on the c/d bandwagon, they where allways the first ones out!
amyers12345 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Do we do something with the Ace ad? Aside of betting the day of release? I didn't realize that they thought we actually shopped there! Whoopsie!
Brad Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Keep in mind that they aren't being as mean as other stores - they say in the message they will provide us with the ad in early November once it is finalized. That is still weeks before BF. They did this last year as well.
