  8. My kids are the same way, they get some much when relative are added in that they are overwhelmed and things are not appreacited, and really depending on thier age you would be surprised at how easily they come on board with this, my kids have been great about it, they understand and want things that they actually want and will use instead of a bunch of stuff that is ok.....they even made restricted lists for relatives too!
  9. DD has asked for a Ipod touch this year but I am really liking the looks of the nabi2, who wants to take a gander at the probability of these going on sale for BF???
  10. I am the same way, we really only buy them things at Christmas and birthdays, hence the temptation to go overboard!
  11. Mine are 10 and 13 I had DD 10 make her list this morning and she is cool with it, DS 13 may be a different story.....
  12. That is me too, and every year I say I am going to tone it down and every year I fail, so I have to have some kind of guide plan!
  13. Is anyone else thinking of doing this with thier kids this year??? We are trying to get on a tighter budget than in years past so at the inspiration of others I am asking my kids for a list with the following things: Something they want, something they need, something they will wear and something they will read. Santa will supply the want plus a stocking and we will get the other three....thoughts or comments???
  14. this is a pretty standard opening time for them, but i cant believe that they will miss the early opening bandwagon, Sears is opening at 4 i believe and it is the same compnay
  15. 1. It was a dark and stormy night...... 2. If I give them tumbs up it will all be OK right??? 3. Don't show me the recipt I don't want to know......

  17. no advice to offer, just good luck I have taken my children out later in the day but never during the early morning chaos, but I do understand the need, and as long as they are warm and comfortable don't see a problem, what ages are we talking about??
  18. usually you can contact local churches, or welfare agencys and they can help set you up with a family to sponser.
  19. hmm need some tablets, some sporting goods and clothes, other than that whatever catches my eye
  20. As much as I try to avoid BB that morning, this would be a dream come true......I am looking for a good deal on some tablets this year!
  21. they have them at our local walmart, but like the orginals where they are hard to come by right now, just have to keep checking back if they are out
  22. I think you might be able to pick them up on ebay, but if you look at the zumba.com website you can find tons of community center classes in your area by putting in your zip code.......most only charge like $5 a class (some less, email the instructor) and if you are like me a live class is alot better motivation than a dvd.
