Kimp67 Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 We're supposed to get snow/snow-showers ALL WEEK!! & the high is only going to be in the 20's here......I don't drive in the snow..............WAH!!!!! Guess maybe I should start planning to do my BF shopping online........ darn, darn, darn!
blakes_mommy Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I will take a four wheeler If I have too.
leefamily23 Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 We got hit w/ a nice storm last week. Ended up w/ just under 2ft in 1 day. They're calling for it to start snowing here this week too on Tuesday night and keep straight through the weekend. It's going to make parking miserable. 1/2 the lots this weekend were overrun w/ huge snow piles.
ebony0421 Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Maybe someone can drive for you or maybe you can ride with someone.
couponmamaoftwins Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Maybe there will be less people shopping Fri morning?
tmkuroda Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Maybe there will be less people shopping Fri morning? That would be nice!
treasure60 Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Nothing is stopping me from going on BF unless they close all the stores down. That is unlikely! My hubby will take 1 or the 2 4-wheel drives we have to take me and my DIL if it should snow.
christmasangel Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I live in Western New York and they are saying that we 'might' get hit with it too. But right now they are on the fence if it is going to be rain or snow. I hate cold rain- but on that day I would perfer it!
gottashop Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 the price of living in the north.... you would be wearing shorts and a tshirt in Texas...

happyrat Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 the price of living in the north.... you would be wearing shorts and a tshirt in Texas...Not quite that nice in Fort Worth, TX but not bad either. Lows around 40 high around 65 and no rain. Its been so long since its rained here I wouldn't care if it rained 10 inches on me in line. We need it.
Guest Deals4Me Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I'll hire a dog-sled if i have to LMAO...You and me both!

Gporter34 Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I hope all of you guys get nice weather for BF. I on the other hand, wish we could get some snow.lol It's actually starting to get a little cool here finally. I think if we don't get some rain down here soon we will all dry up and blow away. I doubt that we would ever get the kind of weather it would take to keep me in on BF! It would have to be bad, because I would get the kids' wagon and go to WM, it's just about two miles down the road!LMAO
sunkisses Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 yeah Thursday evening we're supposed to get rain/snow showers, but i'm not going to let that discourage me. I was planning on bringing blankets for the floor, but it looks like ill have to squeeze some chairs into my car. Which sucks because it really won't leave much room for all my buys. I'll just have to ditch my beach chairs if that becomes an issue LOL

Mommie2one Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Im going to get it too. Snow on Thanksgiving and BF only! Days before BF all clear and after. Go figure. I don't like to drive in snow, but it shouldn't be bad according to the news right now. Im not in the snow belt as Cleveland is, so I shouldn't receive the amount they will
christmasangel Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I just watched the Noon News forecast Thrusday HIGH 36 Friday HIGH 31 Yes Ladies and Gentleman- those are our HIGH'S LOL- but ya know what- it really isnt that bad when you have lived here your whole life, can't imangine christmas without snow. venerdinero Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 the price of living in the north.... you would be wearing shorts and a tshirt in Texas... That's not . Where is the challenge of waiting in line in shorts & t-shirts? Booooooring!! Besides, in the cold, you get to see :bunny: :rotflol:
christmasangel Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 That's not . Where is the challenge of waiting in line in shorts & t-shirts? Booooooring!! Besides, in the cold, you get to see :bunny: :rotflol: I agree!!!! You miss the people huddled together waiting in line with their hands wrapped around their travel mugs of coffee and jumping around to keep warm. Plus the christmas lights look prettier in the snow! LOL But it would be nice to not worry about sweaters, heavy coats, boots, gloves, etc...... LOL:bounce_fl
scottk Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Maybe there will be less people shopping Fri morning? YESSS!!!! Maybe now the late-comers, wanna-be's, complainers, doorbuster-grabber's, line-jumpers, and deal-stealer's will NOT go because of the cold weater and/or rain and/or snow. I will be prepared either way. (Think trash bag over the head with a hole cut in it for a rain coat. Cheap and you can just take it off and throw it away before you go in the store. )
billcsho Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 It is going to snow here in Michigan too. If it got over 4 inches, I don't think I'll leave home. Actually I would not be able to leave home and the city will not have people to clear the road until after 9am. I remember that happened once in the last couple years.
sigrist_2000 Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 let it snow..but not too much..it will get me more into the spirit!!!...200th post!!
KhakiBoy Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Forcast for here in Pittsburgh is 28 and flurries for BF. I'm already thinking about doing more shopping online. But I'll still have to go out just for the experience. But I take the weather report with a grain of salt. I might believe the weather forcast I see in the morning news, but even then it's not always accurate.
alimfp Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Oh no. I hope somehow you can do your BF shopping - all of you having to deal with not so great weather!! GOOD LUCK!!
