I was hoping I would see some discounts on LED TV's Not many out there so I will buy an LCD ans wait for 2-3 years and pick up an LED/LCD at a later date I am thinking. I am going to sit this BF out this year. I will stay home and see what I can get online.

Wow (World of Warcraft) requires at least a dual processor and 2.2 GHz processor and that is just for this expansion. I am on the lookout for something a little better then a 2.2 this BF.

Depends on which games they play. A lot of the on line games now need a dual core and at least 2.10 giga hertz processor.

Wow! I can't believe the people buying their kids a notebook! Seriously, you all need to look at the user reviews for them before buying one. They break VERY easily. Buy a used desktop or upgrade and old computer for the kids if it is just for Farmville umm I mean facebook:)... Or you could give me $100 and I will let them use my laptop for 2 weeks because from the user reviews that is about how long they will last an 8 year old.

The problem with notebooks are that they are VERY easy to break. I was going to buy one for my 30 year old son till I read that users have broken the monitors by shutting it with one hand rather than using 2 hands. So if you are looking for a cheap computer for a pre-teen/teen a notebook would NOT be the answer, go with a laptop.

I have been looking at the Japanese plastic dishes that were on an endcap for a very long time and they finally went on sale:) I need to go to another target to finish getting enough of the soup bowls since I only got 5 and need at least another 5. We have Japanese new year here every year and have at least 2 groups of 10 people eating at different times.. I got a shabby Chic Duvette king size for $24... Thanks everyone! I have a 16 year old that has both game systems. He only plays Halo on his xbox 360. So if your kids are loners that likes playing games with others over the internet or you want him to be one, then get the xbox 360. If you like having kids over your house laughing and having fun while playing a 4 player game then get the Wii. Shoot my 78 year old mother was here for thanksgiving and can barely figure out how to answer a cordless phone but had a BLAST playing the Wii. She laughed so hard she almost wet her pants and wanted to buy one for herself! The Wiiis are more of a family game where everyone an play. I haven't played a non PC game in YEARS and I love the Wii:) Tina
