  1. Get your gift card and credit card numbers entered in your account profile. Some good deals may not give you much time to complete the transaction. Usually some deals start a day or 2 before BF. If it involves a rebate, make sure the deal is eligible for that day you purchase.
  2. I don't remember it exactly, but it should be close to 20 years.
  3. PM policy changed every year on BF. It may even vary from store to store. I have seen some stores posted the "New" PM policy at the entrance during the early bird hours. It is hard to predict.
  4. $549 is pretty much the regular price at Amazon these days.
  5. I posted it in another forum and the deal last for 1 day for the Camera kit. For the price adjust on the zoom lens, the price reduction lasted only 90min and I chatted with them within that time window. I guess they raised back the price right after my price adjustment.
  6. i just bought the Canon T3i with 18-55mm lens kit last week at Amazon for $456.75 shipped. It came with free 16GB SD, a camera bag, and a monopod. In addition, I got a 55-250mm zoom lens with a $150 off bundle coupon for $115AC initially. Then the price of the zoom lens went down $64.07 the day after I received it. I chatted with them online and got the price adjusted. So I got the whole package with 2 lens, camera bag, SD card, and monopod all brand new for $507.68. In addition, there is a 2% rewards on the camera/lens purchase ($10.15). I did not use my Amazon credit card which may give me another 3% rewards since I have a bunch of Kindle giftcards that I got at 20% off from Meijer. So my out of pocket cost is actually $395.99 which is much better than and BF deal. Even without the discounted Kindle gift cards, $497.53 is already a hard to beat price for the whole package.
  7. My best ever deal was from several years ago getting 6 small kitchen appliances (~$200 value) from Kohls with free shipping and free after rebate, cashbacks, rewards, coupon, Kohls cash. Even postage for rebates and tax were all covered.
  8. I guess HF will have their ad out this week.
  9. I got a Galaxy Note 8.0 3 weeks ago for ~$210 at Staples. I guess that would be better than most BF deals on tablet.
  10. Does anyone have the rebate forms for Bella and Black & Decker small appliance? I purchase them online on 11/22 but the form they have now is only for 11/23-11/25. They have the same issue in the past too and they never try to fix that. The rebate forms I am looking for are 12-26787, 12-26802, and 12-26803. TIA
  11. Winners to be announced tomorrow? Does it mean the first ad is already out?
  12. 50 days till BF and the first ad may come in any time.
  13. Depending on the deals available, I am willing to spend a bit more than last year.
  14. That may be for 2009 and perhaps 2010. I have not touch either one at home for more than a year now. LOL.
  15. The only thing I've planned is a mid size (32-40") HDTV at $200 or less for my bedroom. Anyway, I usually got a bunch of stuffs that were not planned. LOL.
  16. Same here. I have not shopped for toys on BF for 2-3 years already. It used to be the major thing for BF shopping. Since then, I have been focusing on tech items. My kids still want Christmas gifts but just not toys anymore.
  17. Unfortunately, it does not seem like to have good deals on hard drives this year. I am glad that I got a 2TB Seagate external for $55AC last week. It is interesting that the before coupon price last week is even better deal than the one on BF ad.
  18. It is wise to bring multiple cc with you on BF. It happens in the last few years that some credit cards may put your account on hold if you made multiple purchases within a short period of time (which is likely to happen on BF) until you call to verify your purchases. If you don't want to be stuck in cashier, bring more CC.
  19. I have been redeeming discounted gift cards from my credit card reward programs in the last couple weeks. I am also converting my Staples gift cards (which must be used in store) into rewards (by purchasing 100% back in reward items) so that I can use either in store or online.
  20. My local walmart also had the items on pallets wrapped in black plastic sheets, but there is no official employees guarding them. Instead, there are some customer standing by them. Some of the wrappings were broken and some items were obvious removed from the pallets before 11pm. Some of the early bird items were not wrapped and we got the 3-pc suitcase set immediately after entering the store at 10:45pm. I was surprised that no one took them from the shelf before me. They were gone by 11:30pm though. Basically, I got all the items I want before 11:30pm in my cart. I went to the check out lines at 11:54pm and was #3 in that line. Checked out a full cart of stuffs and left the store at 12:10am. This is my best BF experience in 16 years.
  21. Well, the HDTV price did drop a lot. Even for the newer LED HDTV models. Nevertheless, there are deals as good as (if not better than) the BF ads since the last few weeks.
