Thanks for the ads. My husband is in Afghanistan checking Gottadeal everyday and he has shared the site with other people. Just a few years ago he thought I was crazy for checking Gottadeal everyday and now he's doing it from the desert.

Has anyone seen the Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving ads for AAFES?

We always go to the PX(military department store) first because they give out $20 gift cards to the first 100 with a military id. They do that Fri, Sat and Sun. After that, we hit the mall.

I'd love to do the Secret Santa again.

Do you care to share any recipes? I would love to buy some dough, but other than making pizza, I'm clueless. Thanks.

Our store is having some type of Coach sale tomorrow, but no one has any information and of course our ad for BF and the days following are not out. We have 2 exchanges here and I wonder if they are doing anything different. Everything is so top secret.

I am willing to bet that since there weren't toys in the ads, that there will be manager specials. There wasn't any mention of the 10% or 20% coupon either. My inside source is pretty reliable so I'll ask her to find out if anything has been mentioned about the coupons.

There are some good deals for tv's in the ad, but other than that there is nothing to write home about.

I wear denim cargo capri pants, t-shirt, sneakers and a jacket. I carry a wallet thingy that goes around my neck with cash, and debit card and usually it's tucked under my t-shirt. I carry the ads with me, highlighted of course. We'll have a small tent and sleeping bag since we will try and be in line by 1pm on turkey day. :eyepoppin

I have been a BF veteran since "96". I was trying to find out what information was out there floating around about BF sales and ads. I think I Googled BF ads and this site came up.

This sounds like loads of fun. I think I'll get my feet wet this year and jump in. It's always fun to receive things in the mail, but it's even better when you know you made someone smile.

If I could put the decorations up tomorrow, I would. My dh and dd always tell me that it's too early and that we have to wait until after turkey day:( .

My husband used to think I was crazy for going out so early, but now that he's had a taste of it, he's ready. I am telling ya if that man tells me one more time that we need to price a small tent for bf, I am going to scream.

My dh and I have made BF, our day. I've found that other people get a little fickle and changed their mind at the last minute, so I don't even bother asking other people anymore. There are those other folks who never want to go out, but always want you to bring them something back. There are a couple of people who I know can't get out there with us crazies and camp out, so I don't mind looking out for them. Who are you going shopping with on BF?

Last year, dh and I went to Kmart on Thanksgiving morning to get cheap pillows. I wanted to swing by BB just to see if anyone was in the line, but decided not to. Dh, was thinking we should just go and do it anyway, but the guilt of not having dinner with the kids was killing me, so we went home. We ended up at BB after 6pm and yes, there was already a long line. I could spit fire I was so mad at myself. I will probably do Kmart by myself if they have something good and then we are planning to have a Thanksgiving brunch with the kids, after which we'll then head over to BB.

I heard from another site that Mcdonalds is taking the lead on the BBB game this year, but of course no one knows for sure. I called Mcdonalds Corp. and asked if they had an idea when the game would start(hoping they'd give me details) and the young lady put me on hold and came back and said her supervisor said it's a little too early, but there will be a game and the date is up in the air for now.

I feel the same way, living in Hawaii. We may get some or similar deals on bf, but the prices are usually different.

Is there a free shipping code floating around somewhere? I can take care of 6 teacher gifts with this sale and not break the bank.:)

I can send you the entertainment or lifestyle section from the paper and fliers if you'd like. There are always tours that you can take. I really like the Polynesian Cultural Center. I hope that I didn't butcher that too bad. There you'll learn about other islands and their way of life, as well as have a show and dinner. Pearl Harbour is also a must. Diamond Head comes too mind also. There are some places here and ther that give discounts if you have AAA. You can sometimes catch specials going to the Big Iwsland where you can see the Black Sand Beach, as well as the volcano erupt. You can pick up souveniers from Aloha Stadium vs the tourist spots. I'll gather some things for you tomorrow.

Try buying the Entertainment Book, that may help. If you give me your price range and how many people, adults and children, I'll come up with some info for you. We are currently stationed on Oahu and I'll get you as much info as I can. We will be going to the Big Island(Island of Hawaii) next week for 5 days for Spring break. If you contact me before then, I'll try and hook you up with info. Make sure to tell me your dates. :)

I saw one on bf for $99.99, but the sale is over. There maybe another sale coming up.

Maybe you should email BB corporate office about your experience. I wouldn't tell them about the discount, but I would tell them how helpful the sales person was. They will be hearing alot of complaints, so I'm sure they'd love a compliment.:)
