36° right now where I am in Ohio. I wish I could say it was an April Fool’s day joke, but sadly it’s true. Warmer weather predicted for this weekend, which is great. Happy April!

March already! On my birthday this past Sunday we actually hit the middle 60s! It was a nice day to get out in the fresh air and not freeze while outside. It only lasted one day, back into the 40s yesterday and 37 right now. But spring and warmer weather is just around the corner.

We got the most snow here last night that we've had in several years. We got around a foot of snow last night with wind. We haven't been above freezing since I can't remember when. I'm more than ready for springtime in Ohio!

February already! We got our biggest snow of the season this past weekend and it's snowing again. I'm ready for spring anytime!

Happy New Year! I'm looking forward to this year being better than last year.

We had snow one day last week but it's all melted now. We're supposed to be in the 50s for a couple days this week and into the weekend.

Received my Secret Santa package today. I can't even pretend that I was going to wait to open it because I knew I couldn't! I got an extremely soft stuffed snowman with the year on it, some soft socks, 2 packages of bath salts, a bag of Dove chocolate and Bath & Bodyworks Winterberry Wonder lotion. I was ready to take a shower before my package arrived. Those plans have now turned into a bath so I can use the bath salts! Thanks, Secret Santa, I love everything! Merry Christmas!

Checking in for December. Now how many days till summer?! I don't do winter weather well at all!

I've been thinking about this question since I first saw it posted. When we were kids my dad worked while Mom stayed home and raised us kids so we didn't have a lot of money, but we never went without. I know there had to be a lot of sacrificing on Mom's part (thinking back now, I don't really recall her having many new clothes, or anything for herself for that matter) because whatever was on top of our Christmas list we usually got, plus several other things on our lists. The one thing that really stands out is my 10 speed bike. We had opened all our gifts that year and we needed batteries for one of the toys so they told us to go get them. For some reason they kept them in the utility room and when my sister and I walked in there, there were the bikes. Of course, we just had to take them outside to try them. Never mind the fact that it was December in Ohio!

I love Mary Did You Know when sung by anyone, but especially when Pentatonix sings it. I also like Holly Jolly Christmas, just because I love the way my older son sang it when he was little.

Maybe we'll see you there. We wanted to go again this year for our 30th wedding anniversary but Covid had other plans for us. Hopefully next year.

Nice sunny day here in NW Ohio. They're calling for snow and wind coming in the next few days, although the amounts keep changing.

We got to Menards about the same time, just after 5 am and we were let in right away. I loved it! No crowds at all...people are normally shoulder to shoulder in there on Black Friday and today was fabulous! We went in and pretty easily found what we wanted, browsed a little while and then headed straight to the registers where there was no waiting. Went to Walmart after that and, while there were more people there than Menards, it wasn't crowded at all. We did order stuff online from Walmart last night because we weren't sure if it would be available in the store but we did see that they had plenty of advertised merchandise. It was a great day with no rushing around and best of all, no crowds!

High of 52° and partly sunny in my part of Ohio. Not sure if I’m going out yet or not. If not, this will be the first time in 20+ years.

I've been looking forward to this! I can't wait to see what 2021 brings us. Hopefully the total opposite of this year!

I think I have most of my stuff for my person. Just waiting a little while longer to ship, just in case I happen to find something else to throw in.

Putnam County...we're neighbors!!

I didn't know that existed! I voted in person on Tuesday this week. We live in a rural county in Ohio, not a lot of people. I asked the worker if they've been busy. She said that the day before they had 342 voters. That's a lot for our area for just one day.

I'm amazed...they actually had it available for my area and I scored one! When I got mine it only gave you the option of one or two.
