I found that all of them have already been leaked. Oh wait those are last years.
-
I was more shocked that the article I read said they still had 800 stores.

Ya the funny thing about all these studies if you can find them to say the opposite of each other.

I no longer have a Kmart or Sears around me. Sad times.
-
Ya this has seemed to help keep the forums a little more active than years before.

It's almost here Time to start planning?

Mine started school this morning. Makes me proud and sad at the same time. Sad because she is getting older (will be 8 in Dec) and she won't be daddy's little girl some day. Proud because she's smart and loves school. I always think about a Subaru commercial with a little girl sitting in the drivers seat with her dad talking to her, she's tiny one second then 16-18 and driving away the next.

I was in Walmart yesterday and they had signs all over that said August 31st.

I think its hard to say who will pick up the slack on toys. My guess is for foot traffic Wal Mart and Target will duke it out. Online Amazon will probably be the big one. Hopefully TRU is back next year.

Picked up some clearance toys at Walmart last night for Christmas for our nephew/niece.

My wife is a teacher and has been back to work from the start of this week. Daughter starts back on the 13th. Summer is gone except for that horrible heat part of it here lol.

So I decided I would complain about the InstantPot, didn't think they would care or do anything. I was pleasantly surprised though. They had me purchase it at the price it is now ($100) and are refunding me the difference between that and the Prime Day price. So I get it after all and only pay the price I was trying to pay then.
-
Will be starting here in a couple weeks.

I've thought about complaining about it, I may still do it if for nothing else to let them know that they way they are choosing to do things is going to cost them customers. Too many places out there to get things to put up with this type of stuff. Ya it's a joke why say something will be to me on a certain day when you know it won't, they may not control all delivery services but you know if they threw their muscle around it would change.

We had nothing but issues with their site and trying to order stuff. I had something in my cart (the Instantpot 6qt 7in1) and I couldn't check out site kept crapping out. So I went on later that night to try again and ordered something else as well. Well lo and behold it's no longer in stock. Funny thing is after the PRIME day stuff ended it was back in stock from Amazon again and at the full price. That coupled with the massive shipping issues we've had from Amazon lately are starting to make me rethink having prime. To me if you're out of stock you should all the sudden have more stock once the sale is over.

Citrus County. I lived in Lutz/Land O Lakes for almost 18 years until the move back to MI 4 years ago. Congrats on the loss, I am starting back into it in hopes of dropping about 60 or so.

Same here, I think one day soon I may be telling those darn kids to get off my lawn.

Will b e nice when it's here so the weather is cooler. I am already over 97 degrees and 100000000% humidity lol.

Ours is going to be off this year, we have started some but we are staying somewhere temp and not sure if we will be in a house by then. We will still shop and have fun though.

I blame the company that bought them then laid a huge amount of debt payments on them, they had it in their mind to just get some money. Read a story that said they will most likely be back in 2019, lot's of people looking to buy them up in bankruptcy. A few of them are looking to take stores and all.

Holy moly. July already. We just relo'd back to FL so will be doing BF here again this year.
-
Must be thinking about Christmas in July that's upcoming lol.
-
Just keep watching places like Home Depot and Lowes they are always having sales on appliances. We buy throughout the year for house we flip and get them from one of those two places most of the time.
-
Many of these brands are built by Maytag so most should be good even if/when Sears folds.
