Hmmm which MOD could we get to open long enough for some people to post?

One would think UPS would know what they are in for this time of the year and hire enough temporary staff to handle the uptick in business.

I was all about the plasma We gave ours to my inlaws when we moved states. I didn't want to take the change of it getting broken, I liked it too much to chance that.

I only have 1 out of our 4 TV's that's 4K. We replaced our TV in our bedroom last BF and the price on the LG we got was great so we went 4K. I can say when you get good content you can tell the difference, things are sharper and better color, if all is equal then it's a good deal. I would not replace a 1080p set just because of 4K though. When our big TV in the living room get's replaced then it will become a 4K or 8k or whatever is out at that point. To be honest I'm looking forward more to an OLED screen than some magic display resolution.

When do mine ship out? Think I may have to do some meatballs also. I do a killer buffalo chicken dip so there will be plenty of that. Trying to think of some other things to put out. Will be doing some smoked meats for one of the two days.

I think it's more of an it is what it is type of situation. It will never end and there will always be some new format out. Beta/VHS VHS/DVD DVD/HD-DVD/Blu Ray and so on and on and on. 4K will be replaced by 8k then 12k then 864,000K and so on. I think holding out at first is a good idea but you get to a point where you need/want to replace a piece of electronics you can't wait for the next great thing because it will soon be in some battle and replaced also. I think you just need to go into it with open eyes and knowledge of what you're getting now and what could be coming down the pipe.

Ya let's not talk about baking. We haven't even started that yet. Finishing off all the decorating now. Most is done but still more to go.

We are almost done, have all but 1 things for my wife, we have pretty much everything in or ordered for our daughter. Just need to pick up a few gift cards and something for my mother. Thinking about a cheapo laptop for her now, wish I had thought about it ON BF.

Our first tree has been decorated, the second we purchased yesterday (real tree) had to buy a new base for it since we decided to go over 10' this year. Once it was in the new stand it looks like it's about 11' or more. Going to let it site so all the branches drop then we will decorate it.

Lady my grandpa used to work with made liquor filled chocolate covered cherries. Those things where the bomb. She also made like HUGE homemade version of candy bars. They tasted just like the real thing just like 10X as big.

What games might they have been? We want to pick up 1 or 2 more for our DD so she has 3-4 to choose from when she gets her Switch for Christmas.

Well according to what everyone tells me they haven't done well in 58 years (I'm not even close to that old) I hold out hope every year will be the year and then I end up bummed.

From what I've read the speakers and microphones on the bigger one are better. I'm not sure how much use we will get out of it for me to justify getting the bigger one. I haven't taken a dot out of the box but they live up to their name, I didn't expect the box to be as small as it is based on the pictures of it.

I am going to be installing one of the Ring Pro doorbells at my house. It's a shame we have to do thing like this in order to keep our deliveries safe. Ya when I lived in an apartment they did that also. Was nice but also a PITA because they were usually closed for the day by the time I got home from work.

I ended up picking up the Amazon Echo's dot's from one of the BF sales. I picked up 3 of them though my wife only know's of 2. I figured I would wrap one up and give it to her. She likes to play music and that would probably make it an easy sell for her.

Do they allow you to return without a receipt? Can say you got it as a gift and don't need it.

Hopefully you can get it all worked out. Hate when they mess things up multiple times.

No I haven't really paid attention, I know it get's worse the closer to the holiday's we get. Sad sad world.

Then it's a Golf Cart chase down Will be on the nightly news. Honestly there is nothing stopping those people from just walking up to the door and taking the package 2 mins after the delivery driver leaves. My guess is we will all start seeing those stories in the news soon enough..
