Going to go the selfish route this year and use the rest of the money for others gifts but for this new found $1000 I would get the following: Sharp 70-Inch LED 1080P HDTV SmartTV from AAFES for $999.00

Yes I do the same thing at BestBuy all the time. I go in knowing what I want with the same sku already looked up and they match it.

I would tend to agree the PS4 CAN be a little bit faster due to the faster ram in the machine, though MS has done some things to make up for it. All in all I usually tell people look at what their friends have and PLAY and then go with that. They will most likely get into playing online with their friends and then you need the same systems. All in All this current gen is VERY similar in specs and speed and each will have it's exclusives, there really isn't one I would call flat out better now.

TRU, Home Depot, Lowes and GameStop are the ones I'm waiting on. Need stuff from Lowes and HD for the house lol COME ON APPLIANCE GREAT DEALS

I have wondered for a while how they are still in business. I try and stay away from there if at all possible. I don't have issues with the people who work there they are usually nice enough to me but i have an issue with their prices. They are usually a decent amount higher than anywhere else.

Will Walmart lower their Free Shipping range again this year?
Kanyon71 replied to magickallight's topic in 2014
You can probably also use Site to Store if you're under the $50 cap to still get free shipping. I have done this in the past. -
Awesome news. I'm sure Amazon will have some good deals on things we want and need so I will be taking advantage of this for things I will need right then vs waiting for prime shipments (yes 2 days is too long lol)

What people like in a router varies person to person. I tend to go for quality over price as I depend on my network and it's speed, I tend to prefer Amped Wireless stuff due to the signal strength and speed I get out of them. Have used it for friends and clients and had no bad feedback. Now you don't need their highest end one but even the others aren't really cheap. Netgear I'm NOT a fan of

Well unless they have a huge stock or a bunch of the stuff I want pops up online looks like a LOT of everything I would want is in the 6PM Thursday part of the ad which means we will not be there to buy it. Bummer some decent deals.

Sell it? You mean pay someone to take it from you?

I'm still hoping for a good deal on a 70" TV this year.

Unofficial Black Friday Streaming Media Device Thread

I have an AppleTV (latest version) and it's been pretty good. I did the Pre-Order for the Amazon Fire Stick for $19 but won't get that until January. I've thought about checking out the Roku also but not sure yet. Yes I like tech toys lol. -
I blame it on Target, they released the ad (or shall we say Kraken) and the servers started going haywire. I think it was a ploy by them to drive traffic to their site.

Ok now everyone just need's to remember what they posted yesterday and put it all back again

1. How much money do you anticipate spending the entire week of Black Friday, online and in stores combined? A. Depends on if I get a TV. If so $2500, If not $1000-$1500 2. If you plan on shopping offline on Thanksgiving and/or Black Friday, how many different stores do you predict you'll shop at? A. Probably in the neighborhood of 10 3. Do you anticipate shopping online more than last year, less than last year, or about the same as last year? A. About the same as last year

Beats in general is decent but very heavy on the bass. I have not heard much about their stuff outside of the headphones. I have a set of them that I got as a present and overall I am pretty happy with them. NOW having said that don't go ask an audiophile or they will tell you they are garbage lol. I do tend to agree with one thing they say and that's that they are over priced. Then again I can say that about a LOT of things.

I bought one for my Wife a few years ago and she loved it until the power supply died. I've been thinking about another now and I'm going to go with something that supports BT and more so AirPlay. This way I don't have to worry about it if they change their connector again, which would have made her dock pretty useless once we upgraded phones. We could have kept using it but would have need an adapter which would have made the phone no longer fit in the dock not to mention we could never hook the ipad to her dock. Wireless transmission is the way to go the thing I liked about AirPlay is the phone/device only needs to be on the same network as the speakers not close enough for BT to work. BT makes it great for other things though that aren't on the Apple Ecosystem.

The 2014 Black Friday Product Charts (Updated 11/26)

They just aren't very considerate of us. I mean you would think they would notice how many times a day we check this site waiting for the new ad's to hit -
I had browser issues so didn't get to get my hoodie. By the time I realized it was my beta version of FireFox messing up the sale was done.

Besides it's what I've asked for lol.

I won a shirt a couple years ago on a WebCast. I always knew my mind filled with useless trivia would pay off lol

It's hard to say, some think the Xbox One price may end up permanent. My guess is it goes away and then you MAY see some last minute deals and then after the new year it comes back permanent for kids to spend the money they got for Christmas on. If you can hide it get the one you want, if you can't hide it now you could possibly do Lay-A-Way from one of the places that have it at least that gives you less time it has to be hidden.

Elf On The Shelf, we do it with our daughter and my wife does it at work (teacher), it's a magical Elf that comes to your house or work and watches the children, the Elf shows up each morning hiding in a new place, every night the Elf returns back to Santa to let him know how the child or children are behaving. They are NEVER allowed to touch Elf or he/she could lose their magic. There is a story book and a movie out for it also. My daughters Elf (Twinkle) will start showing up soon and reporting back to Santa each night. EVERY morning she loves getting up and trying to find out what new place Twinkle is hiding.

Well to be honest with some of the newer games coming out and the ability to load to drives that 1TB drive might come in mighty handy. In the C.O.D. version is the game included where in the normal version it's not? If so thats a $60 game bringing down the cost of the system. When we replace we will be doing the larger drive simply do the things that may be added to the console moving forward.
