Nothing in this ad that catches my attention.

I will be going for the movies and albums.

1. Excuse me.. you're suppose to be working not shopping so go put that cart and TV back, put on your yellow vest and join the rest of us in misery umm I mean helping these customers. 2. Best Buy is now renting out tents. 3. Guess a lot of people didn't want to grow up … they are still Toys R Us Kids.

We have 2 totes in our walk in closet. I place smaller gifts in them and then place a blanket or some off seasonal clothes on top so if the kids snoop and open the lid they find clothes/blankets. The kids know I love to use totes to hold blankets and clothes so they wouldnt think anything of it. Stocking stiffers are placed in empty show boxes that are kept on the top shlf in our closet. One shoe box per person. Bigger stuff is either kept in the locked shed and we hid the key or in my office at work.

Hoping to find some great deals this year.

We will be decorating like normal this year: Fall/Halloween this weekend Nov 1st/2nd the Halloween deocration come down and the Thanksgiving Decorations go up. BF/Thanksgiving weekend aall the fall/thanksgiving decorations get packed up and we decorate for Christmas. I will start watching Christmas Movies and listening to Christmas Music starting Nov 1st.

A lot of Halloween stuff in the stores around me with stores still filling the shelves with even more halloween candy and costumes. The grocery store here has had their seasonal asiles filled with Halloween candy and decor since Labor day. Walmart here is just starting to set up the christmas trees in the lawn and garden area.

Some of the malls around me that lost some of it's anchor stores replaced them with Targets, Dick sporting goods, bowling alleys which has increased the foot traffic at those malls.

Out shoppng for hours amid the hustle and bustle of other shoppers the hunt for door buster items on my list. I am down to my last large tub of kitty litter from last years BF shopping trip. I do hope they have that again this year too.

Oh how I wish we had a low of 48 this morning!

I am not surprised and I expect we will see more and more stores annouce this in the coming weeks.

WOW .. I wonder how many other stores will do the same?

I am really not sure how much shopping I will be doing on BF. DVDs for sure. I am at the point that if I can find a really great deal before hand then I will get it then. Plus we are not buyig as many gifts this year, still spending the same or nore but the kids are older and the stuff they want is more expensive. There are a few local stores, mom & pop shops that we will shop at for gifts too.

My husband works in an all electronic warehouse and the stuff is not coming in like it was. They are lucky of they are getting half the supply they were when this all first started. They had to laid off some staff and cut back hours because the work is not there. I has been like this for the past month and with no end in sight.

One of my favorite books and the movie is actually really good too. I had been wanting to watch this movie for a while now (couple months at least).

Tucked more money away for BF and Chistmas shopping.

Hard to believe we about 2 weeks to Christmas already. Time is flying by for sure.

Thanksgiving night went to the local walmart. Was able to find a lot on my list but not everything, store not overly crowded but it was also just after 8 pm too. I usually buy a lot of DVDs but not this year, I don't think I bought half of what I normally would. Spent the least amount ever in Walmart for a BF sale. Went to Target, walked around for 20 minutes, left without buying anything. Again not overly crowded as in the past. Stopped in 5 Below, in and out in 5 minutes and got what I needed. Last stop for the night was AC Moore. Went back to Target Friday morning with my daughter as she wanted to gets some stuff. Bought 3 books at Target and that was it. I spent the least amount ever on BF this year, this includes on line shopping which I didn't do much of that either. I found too many great deals over the summer and in the fall leading up to BF that I was able to get a lot of shopping done early.
