Waiting for that 1st ad to drop

My DD wants a kindle reader and DH wants beats earbuds. Always on the lookout for deals on transformers LOL

I was really surprised and excited to get this in the mail over the weekend. My kids are too big for the "toy" book and my grandson is still a bit to young but hopefully next year he will be old enough to get excited to go through a toy book and mark off what he wants.

Our Walmart started placing out Christmas Decorations in the Lawn and Garden Area this past weekend.

We host every year as we have the bigger house, not sure how many people will be coming yet this year. Roasted Turkey with giblet gravy Homemade Stuffing Candied yams Corn Green Bean Casserole Steamed Broccoli Mashed Potatoes Canned cranberry sauce and homemade cranberry sauce Rolls Desserts: Homemade Apple crumb pie, Pumpkin pie, Sweet Potato Pie Homemade pepperoni bread to snack on earlier in the day while watching parade and football

Oh I miss Kmart too!!!! and Yeah it's going to suck this year without the Christmas Tree Shop!

Love this time of the year! Can't wait to shut off the AC and open the windows.

Since a couple of the store I normally shop on BF have closed we are rethinking out shopping plans this year. We are about 30% done shopping now and I keeping my eyes opened for deals. I don't think we will be out shopping as long as we did last year. The goal is to be completely done shopping by Dec 1st except for food related items.

Same, hate the heat and humidity. I prefer Fall and actually like winter and snow. I can add layers and still be comfortable.

Picked up a few gifts in July. Was not impressed with Amazon's Prime deals this year.

Turkey!!!! I wanted to smoke a turkey tomorrow but weather not going to cooperate.

I know Feb is a short month but I feel like I blinked and it was over.

I am in south NJ and we had a coating of snow at best so far. It's very depressing ....

Yup, we have spent so much less on BF items from Walmart this year. Very disappointed in their sales and lack of selections.

Miss the old BF shopping .. getting the ads, planning out your shopping trip, waiting in line and just having fun. This Black November way of doing things sucks. Sales not that great and the advertising (in some stores .. the LACK of advertising) is the worst.
