We do not have a set amount of gifts but I do set a budget to spend on the kids gifts and they do get an equal amount of gifts. They do not get a lot of extras through out the year (unless they buy it themselves) so we tend to spoil them at Christmas.

Cant wait but I have a feeling I maybe watching AMC more though

Our kids exchange their gifts they bought each other on Christmas Eve and they get their Christmas PJs. The next morning the kids cannot come down stairs until we have come done, started coffee and I set out a platter of homemade breads and cookies. We open gifts, clean up and wait for my dad and his wife to come over for a late breakfast. After breakfast we change gifts with them. We also exchange gifts with other family that come over for dinner later that day.

It depends ... if it's a hot item and I can find a good sale now I will get it now instead of running the risk of not getting it. I clearance shop all year so sometimes I will find a great deal and I have the extra money then I get it then. Usually for things like movies, games .. things that are on sale every BF at rock bottom prices I tend to wait until BF.

Towels, sheets, bedding set, dishes

The wait for the ads to leak seems to be never ending .. I am ok with waiting until BF Friday to shop but I really want to start working on my BF shopping lists and I need those ads to do that LOL

I usually forget about savings catcher. Most of the food items I buy at Walmart are usually their brand like flour, sugar, butter. I can find better deals on the name brand stuff at the grocery stores when I can match coupons with sale items as the grocery store doubles coupons that is up to 99 cents or at BJs.

My top favorites which are a must watch at least once every season although I watch several of these more then once: 1. White Christmas 2. It's a wonderful Life 3. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation 4. Miracle of 34th street 5. Santa Claus 6. A Christmas Carol with George C Scott 7. Scrooged
