Have you chosen your first stop yet or are you waiting for all the ads?
berry1014 replied to magickallight's topic in 2019
Walmart is always my first stop. -
I will still be going out although I do not buy as mush as we used too. The kids are older so their wants/need have changed plus found some great sales earlier in the year so a big part of the gifts have already been bought.

Thanksgiving weekend is when we decorate for Christmas (inside and out)

With my job we deal with both acer and dell chromebooks (touch screens and non-touch screen for both) and have had very little issues with the Acers and after 3 to 5 years many are still going strong. Dells on the other hand, depending on the model, have serious breakage with hinge posts, motherboard and or batteries dying after 1 to 2 years and updates causing all sorts of issues.

Where do you hide gifts until Xmas and how do you keep track of all of it?
berry1014 replied to magickallight's topic in 2019
We have a few totes in our walk in closet that we store the kids Christmas gifts in. They are marked season clothes and I have a couple shirts or sweaters on top covering up the goods. I also hide hubby's gifts in those too or some where on my side of the closet. Extended family's gifts are tucked under the bed or in the corner of the bed room. I have shoe boxes on the top shelf of the that I store stocking stuffers in. -
Wish these ads would drop now

Got my bags yesterday too. They are GREAT! Thanks!

About 15 years ago we were out shopping on BF. Since we had a minivan we drove and everyone rode with us. Well we all shopped so much that we had to cram stuff all over inside the van. Every time someone opened a door bags would just tumble out. On the way home everyone except for the my husband who was driving was covered in bags, it was a hot mess but it also so much fun LOL

I hope today is the last 90+ degree temp we get this year. I am so ready for the fall temps and for ads to start leaking.
-
For once I am not looking for any major purchases on BF. My daughter however wants to get a switch but only of she can get a good enough deal on it.
-
Congrats to all the winners

We have been finding all kinds of great deals we are almost done shopping for our son and we are almost half way done shopping for our daughter. BF looks to be mostly DVDs, PJs and clothes this year.
-
It's hard to say what it will as I do not know what kind of deals I will score before hand. Some years I do most of my christmas shopping on BF and other years not even half.
-
Absolutely ... We would all be standing outside shivering together LOL

The only gamestop near me is in the mall and they are always busy

Usually its me and my hubby plus a few other family/friends and we always had a good time. We did a divide and conquer to get thought the stores faster. Other family and friends either have to work or will be out of town and hubby doesn't know if he has to work BF this year yet. I will be prepared either way
