Ok I want a White Christmas .... however I do have a list of DVDs and CDs I want and I want more family type picture frames for my walls. I am sure when I start browsing through the BF ads I will come across an item or two that I will want.

Don't need toys and the a lot of the stuff my teenager wants I can't put on layaway.

Last year we bought our son a new bike from ToysRus on BF and we just grabbed the ticket from the display and used that to buy the bike. Once we paid for it they brought the bike up to us.

We still shop there for Legos for our son as they have a better selection then most other stores and they always have a sale on Legos. Everything else is a hit or miss. Most times I can find better deals at Target or Walmart especially when it gets closer to Christmas. We are just about out of the Toy buying stage for our kids with the exception of board games, video games and right now Legos. Definitely don't spend as much there as we used to when the kids were little.

UGH .. we are so far behind on our Christmas shopping this year. Usually by now I am about 40% done but I don't even think we are 20% done yet.

Looking forward to Black Friday but I have a feeling I wont be shopping at much this year nor will be shopping at lot of the stores that I typically shop at. Kids are older and my youngest is starting to phase out of toys. Budget is tighter so there wont be as many gifts as in the past - this year definitely going for quality over quantity.

There are 2 kmarts with in 30 minutes from my house and both are staying open. I used to shop a lot at kmart, clearance sales through out the year, Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday but last year I skipped Kmart all together and haven't bought anything there in a while. Even their clearance sales have not been as good as in the past. Was thinking about stopping there sometime in the next week or 2.

The Walmarts in my area never allowed price matching on BF sales and they stopped price matching earlier this year.

Its always good to start with a list 1. Who you are buying for 2. price limit per person or per gift 3. gift ideas for each person you are buying for and if you are not sure what they want or would like then ask. Once you have a list then start keeping an out for sales and when BF gets closer compare your list to what is on sale at stores near you. Sometimes you can find better deals in the weeks leading up to BF.

We are fast approaching the 6 month mark!!!!!

Been putting money away in a Christmas club and so far we are right on schedule. I have also picked up a few gifts already.

We open a Christmas club account every Nov for the following Christmas. I get paid bi weekly so I put money in either every 2 weeks or just deposit 4 to 5 payments once a month. We have been doing it this way for several years now.

I like the separate but I could see merging some together.

I am looking at the one of the bikes for one of my kids. I will not be able to get to Toysrus until after 9 pm tomorrow night. Anyone have luck buying a bike on BF or should I just order it on line?

Hoping to find a good deal on a camera, either Nikon Coolpix or canon powershot.

I am hoping to get a bike there but I will not get there until later in the night.

Black Friday is when I can stock up on DVD's and vide games really cheap. Other items on my list are a hit or miss but I also check weekly sales in the month leading up to BF. Sometimes I find a better deal during those sales and sometimes I find a better deal on BF. In all the years I have shopped BF I never got all my deals on BF.

Not a bad ad but no way they will see me on Thanksgiving day.

We already have a set budget planned and have ideas of what we are buying however the upcoming BF sales will determine how much we buy. Once money is gone, the shopping stops.
