The price on the serger I have been waiting for was JUST RAISED $30!! It has been $190 for months and just went UP to $220. I am so disappointed. And several stores have the Amazon kindle fire for $33.33 and Amazon is still holding at $49. What is Amazon doing? I don't get it but I'm pretty upset about it.

I am having problems this year even finding what I want on sale. I don't know what's going on but there is a change this year for sure.

I picked I will spend less and that is because my retirement fund may take a huge hit. But in reality I will still try to get everyone what they want.

I haven't ever checked out old forums but it might be fun!

Last year Amazon put a Kindle on sale for $30 and I really hope they repeat that because I want to grab one as a gift for my aunt. I like to try to get gifts that are awesome but don't break my budget.

I wasn't that excited about the Dell ad. The cheap laptop I like to try to get is $199 this year. Last year the pretty much same laptop was $179. Seems like laptop prices would come down in price. I will probably still try to get one.

#1 - Hey everyone! The stuff you want is over there! (Because what I want is right here) #2 - If I could I'd use these nerf guns to get rid of all these people in line #3 - I'm sorry you couldn't find one thing you liked in any of the stores, but never the less, I need help with these bags.

It will possibly give me an extra payday to purchase last minute stuff!

So many things are digital now that you can't grab a bunch of videos/dvds or cds anymore. Everything is streamed or available online or through some kind of TV media. You can't even buy a favorite movie easily anymore. Cheaper digital items used to be cute stocking stuffers but now they are junk. No one wants a photo frame when all photos are digital now. My kids don't ever print up a photo. I think when people just want specific things and those things cost a lot, it takes the fun out of shopping. My son (age 23) told me he wants a Northface or Columbia winter coat. I told him he has a winter coat and he told me that he doesn't wear that brand. He'll buy it for himself if I don't but the point is, many of us can't just grab a good deal anymore and hope the recipient will love it.

I find this to be true as well. I bought a Dell doorbuster last BF and now in Oct the hard drive is full. I had to go and delete a bunch of stuff. Still with 4 laptop users in my house I know I will try to grab one just in case someone's laptop bites the dust when it's not in the budget.

I want the unlikely and maybe even impossible. I want a cheap kindle or tablet that can actually take photos. I want to buy one for my aunt to snap photos of documents at all the libraries she researches at. Amazon usually has a great kindle price but no camera. Ideas?

I like to put gifts that I'm giving anyway in stockings when they are small enough to fit. I put things like socks, especially nice ones. Almost everyone likes nice new socks. Some people put in new toothbrushes especially the battery operated ones. I put in cologne - I got a great deal on name brand cologne on ebay stores last black friday. Last year I got everyone a new wallet and put it in the stocking also. I also got portable phone chargers and car chargers, a new phone case, that kind of stuff is always used.

My mom sent me her list (haha!) and I ordered and received one item so far. I also found an item on mega clearance online at Roamans and ordered it for a friend.

I was just looking back at previous messages and realize how much I love this forum each year for at least 3 or 4 years now!

Every year I try to grab the Dell online doorbuster laptop. My husband got me an external DVD drive because the cheaper under $200 doorbusters don't have this drive anymore. With the external one it doesn't matter what computer I use it on.
