  1. That is great and suprising from what I have read on other post regarding Best Buy. It seems like most people don't have much good to say about Best Buy. I have never venture out to a BB on BF -- the lines are crazy...I usually drive by one and wow...I think there must be 100s of people by 4 am...it is really wild...maybe the key is to way until after the dust settle from the 5am door opening.
  2. It makes one wonder is this years "BF" going to really be "RF" (Red Friday)
  3. I work 5 hours a week, if I am lucky...so money is not as abundant as it could be...in a way, I am glad the ads suck...It has made me really think about all this "STUFF" I have bought over the years...it is just stuff. Our kids don't remember 100's if not 1000's of toys we have bought them over the years. What a great time to have fun with our kids and make memories they will remember forever. Ok...I know it is a bit sappy, I just feel so manipulated by all these retailers with their marketing schemes! Do I really need or even want this stuff...nah...but their marketing efforts make be think I do.
  4. I wish all the stores would do this...It would save them and the customer a lot of grief. I guess they don't want to make toooooo easy for customers to return products.
  5. I rarely have any issues with returning anything to my Target. I never have my receipts...they will just look up my credit card to find my receipts at the store. I return stuff all the time. I buy stuff and bring it home and either it does not look right or I have buyers remorse!
  6. I feel like we have all been had. The retailers have wined and dined us for the last...I don't know how many years, with awesome BF Deals, I guess these retailers have flood the market the last few years are realize that a lot of us come out for about 15 minutes and grab the deals they're taking a hit on...I guess it makes sense for business...but not us consumers.
  7. I fully agree or unless the credit card hits its limit...
  8. WOW---I had no idea. We have one being built...and unfortunately, it will not be open for BF...maybe next year!
  9. I agree...I am just wondering if I am just not interested in "stuff" anymore. I have a compuer...I have the LCD/HD tv...I have the digital camera...all the electronic gizmos...all the kitchen gadgets...I have way too many kid toys...I buy buy buy ever year on BF...spending way too much, but it is fun!!! I come to wonder if I am fed up with all the marketing of stuff I really don't need or is that the ad are REALLY REALLY BAD!!!!!!
  10. None of the above is about right some years. I think the employees are more flustered than the customer that did not get the BF deal. To me every year there are employees that seem like they have been on the job since the moment the doors opened. I find majority of the workers clueless. As consumers, I think most of us do our homework and know the same if not more than the workers. I am not blaming the workers, it is the company's dynamics...
  11. Just curious...which store do you think the employees are the more helpful on BF. It is a crazy day. I have found in the past that target seems to have extra help everywhere with their radios helping the customers locate what they want -- it can be crazy especially the first 10 minutes.

    Target BF ad

It seems like all the ads are a bit weak this year. However, I will say, Target by far has the best to offer when shopping for the whole family, i.e. toys, electronics, clothes, etc.
  13. Just curious...how many stores do you plan on shopping at on BF? I will probably hit 3-4 stores. It all depends on the crowds and stock at the stores of course.
  14. I have not seen anything mentioned about HHGregg...does anyone know anything about their BF sale?
