  1. I guess I'm too cheap too :) I agree, $24 is more than I would pay for sterling. I guess though, if sterling is your favorite, it may be worth it if it's something kind of different. I don't really know. I just wanted you to know you're not alone! :) I do like Zales though.
  2. I agree with bayhay say...sometimes it takes awhile. I promised coupons to a fellow gottadealer a couple weeks ago and they JUST went out earlier this week. I simply didn't have any time to get to the post office. (we don't mail things from home) I feel really horrible that she had to wait so long for them!! We just have to try to be understanding about what may be going on in the lives of others. If you're really concerned about it, just pm the person. You'll have an answer and it might make you feel better :)
  3. I didn't get that message, but the site is running really slow. Most of the pj pals that I've looked at are only available in size 8, which is too big for my little guys. I haven't gotten to look at much else yet.
  4. Can you use the option to pick it up at the store? Then you could still use the discount codes you have and not have to pay any shipping on it either.
  5. I have 2 extra tin men if anyone wants to trade for something else. I pretty much need everything! The only ones I do have so far are the wicked witch of the west, glinda the good witch and the tin man.
  6. I found some great deals at K-mart yesterday too. I got a bunch of toys and a lot of kids clothes. Plus they had a bunch of purses for $1.50 and $2.50. I dug through those and actually found 4 cute ones. One was genuine leather for $2.50! That's pretty good! I think it was 90% off. I walked out with 4 huges bags full for $49.xx! Now I'm anxious to hit another K-mart :)
  7. I got two of mine at Big Lots. They have different sizes. The regular size was $1 and the bigger one was $2. They were with the office supplies. Check thrift stores too if you go there. I have found some at thrift stores for 50 cents or so.
  8. Kohl's usually has pretty good deals on these. I don't have one, but always thought they looked neat. That's a great idea about using the George Foreman grill. I do have one of those and I'm going to give it a shot :)
  9. I tend to agree with what some others said. They have a right to vent. We do it sometimes ourselves, come home and post about having a pain in the butt cashier or whatever. Yeah, reading some of it was kind of annoying, but then I wasn't really supposed to be on that site. I'm sure cashiers everywhere gripe about customers. I would guess it's a tough job sometimes. Just not everyone puts it in writing. I say..big deal. As long as I'm getting my bargains you can talk about me all you want!
  10. The BBB thing was a little confusing to me. It looked like they basically had no info on them other than 5 complaints. Maybe I'm just not reading it right. I don't know. Anyway, I won't buy anything expensive from their other site, but if something were to happen and I lost $5.99, that's not a huge loss :) It's worth the risk for me since I have gotten quick service everytime and I have loved everything that has come.
  11. That's a real bummer! The box we found was a disaster too. It was completely open with stuff falling out everytime you moved it. We had to check to packing slip to make sure it was all there before we took it.
  12. You're welcome :) Beware though...it gets to be a bit addicting! lol I just ordered another ring yesterday :)
  13. My husband and I had a great find at the Springfield (Ohio) Target today! I've been looking for one of those train tables since after Christmas when everyone was talking about getting them, but I never had any luck finding one. Tonight I did. It was on the bottom shelf back by toys and the clearance sticker said $55.99. I made hubby drag it over to a scanner only to realize that someone had torn off the barcode. A Target guy saw us trying to price it and came over and said "the tag on it says $55.99." I explained to him how several people I "knew" had been buying them for around $20 and I wanted to scan just to see. Well, since there was no barcode we couldn't. I was ready to abandon it, but he said it had been there a long time and was probably at 90% off. Well, that got my attention, but then he said he'd give it to me for $20. WTH? I said, what about that 90% off you just mentioned? Then he punched it in his scanner and it was coming up full price. (79.99) I told hubby it was up to him. He asked the guy if he really wanted to get rid of it. He said "I do". Hubby said "How about 10 bucks?" The guy said,"okay, I can do ten" and he went and got a flat cart and took it to the register. Well, when he got up there he told the girl to just give it to us for 90% off. I was HAPPY! I wasn't done shopping though, so hubby went to pay and take it out to the car. It turned out to be an even better deal than expected!! The cashier took 90% off of the lowest clearance price!!! ($55.99) We only paid $5.59 for an $80 table!!!! Now that's exciting! Now if I can only figure out where to put the darn thing! I got a few other good deals too. I got a couple perfume sets for 75% off, some lotion marked down to $2.xx and I had a $1 coupon, some razors marked to $4.18 and I had a $1 coupon for those too. I also found some ice scrapers that have really warm glove type things on them for $1.48. They were normally around $10. I bought several of those to use as stocking stuffers next year :)
  14. Okay, I really don't have anything to say either way about bidz.com because I never ordered from there, but for any of you who like silver or buy gifts for someone who does www.silverjewelryclub.com has some really cute pieces and the quality has been good. I've ordered several pieces as gifts for my hubby (stainless bracelets) and my niece and then also a bunch for myself and for $5.99 you can't beat it :)
  15. I assume you're talking about the one on Sawmill, right?
  16. Wow. I recently signed up for this site but hadn't won anything so far. Now I think I'll just avoid it. With my luck I'd be the one who had a huge hassle. I really like to see the jewelry in person before I buy it anyway.
  17. I think the pretzel one and the peanut butter one are the same. And I think the raspberry and the lemon crunch are the same. At least that's what I've been able to get. I've gotten the fiery ones, espresso ones, peanut butter pretzel, raspberry lemon biscotti, key lime, and the coconut ones. The coconut ones sure seem hard to come by around here!!!
  18. Well, I made it to Target Friday to look for my GB butterfly picture. Actually, I went to 5 different Targets! I found the picture I wanted at the first one. It had a scratch on the frame, but I decided to get it anyway just in case I didn't find another one. They did give me and extra 10% off though. I did find another one at the 2nd store I went to. It had a scratch too, but lots smaller, so I bought it too. I figure I'll return the other one. Or maybe just hang both :) I also bought one of the silk blankets for 75% off. It feels wonderful!! :) I bought a couple of the Go Tool Rescue Choppers for $2.48 (75% off), some car cleaning stuff for 50% off and a couple of the 5 star notebooks with pens for $1.xx. I think they were 75% off too. I also got a handful of free choxie bars at each store, 6 boxes (total) of the swiss cake rolls, and lots of chips. (some of the free ones and a bunch of the 99cent ones) All in all, I was pretty happy! :) My toddlers were just happy to be home. Everytime we'd pull into a Target parking lot they said "Mommy, we were already here. No more!" It was funny
  19. Surprisingly, I don't think their clothing prices are all that bad. My mom buys most of my boys clothes from there. I think the one piece outfits (long sleeve, button at the crotch, long legs) were only 11.99 or somewhere close to that and that was regular price. You can find some really great clearance deals in there even when it's not an extra 30% off.
  20. Hooray! Mine came today!
  21. I have the same problem. I love chocolate, but those are really rich. They're good, but one bar lasts a long time around here!
  22. I wouldn't wait. I'd go ahead and call while you're still good and mad. I'd also ask about your order and your refund and why your account had to be charged twice. Maybe they can explain it all better or get it fixed faster.
  23. I forgot the target site has a store finder. I had forgotten about several. (Morse rd, Olentangy River Rd)
  24. The only thing I saw in the global bazaar that I want (really, really, really bad! lol) is the framed metal butterfly. It was $130 or so regular price. I really don't have anywhere to hang it, but IF I can get my hands on one it's mine! I won't be able to get to a Target till tomorrow though so I'm sure they'll all be gone. I'll just have to hit every Target I can find! Help me out all of you Columbus, Ohio perusers...where are all the Targets? I know there's one on Brice, one on Sawmill, one on West Broad and one over on Hillard Rome Road. Are there any I'm missing?
  25. My inlaws had a really bad experience at Sears too and refuse to buy much of anything at all there anymore. When we got a new dishwasher awhile back I wasn't even allowed to go in there to look at what kind of deals they had.
