  1. Check out the wedding aisle at your local Micheals, have the Bride decide what she wants and start purchasing with coupons. Great accessories, etc. When one of my cousins got married, her mom bought all the red roses at Micheals after Valentine's Day sale (her color was red) and made up all the centerpieces. They were beautiful and she saved a lot of money. Also sign up for Joann's mailer--extra coupons all the time, and you can buy a lot of accessories and tulle there....for DD's First Communion, the centerpieces where pansies in white containers layered in 3 colors of tulle. The pansies were from Home Depot, the white containers were folded down paper bags, and the tulle all came from J's. I really didn't spend much at all....and there were 10 tables. (80 guests) Wedding Magazines should be avaliable at the library!
  2. The Cookie Theme merchandise is on sale, too. Get your Cookie Manager a great cookie jar for $9!!! Yes, I have one and I love it. Although I paid a lot more for it:)
  3. THANKS! We'll look forward to this one arriving!
  4. I picked up the hardcover childern's book Snow Place Like Home for .74 each, plus Yankee Candle votices for .50 or so...two votives, two books were $2.56 with tax. They did have other sizes in the candles, lots of the books, ornaments, some giftwrap (I was very tempted by the reindeer box!). I didn't see and webkinz, but I wasn't really looking for them.
  5. Check Target, they now carry some styles of Converse.
  6. No problems using it today on clearance cami for DD...THANKS OP!
  7. Check those return carts! We found a returned AmourAll Car set yesterday, so we got the whole kit for $6.42 (still 75%). We'll be stopping at a couple of Targets when we go out today, I need more bows for the garland in the front of the house.....
  8. CRANIUM GAMES INFO: Sorry, just saw your message--these are the plastic box Cranium games--there are four of them. Letter Line Up, Scuptordars, Cloode and one more whose name I can't recall. Boxes are plastic--red, yellow, green and purple. Regular price was $9.99, now $2.24. Check near the 20 minute Sorry, Monopoly, Clue games that's where I found them. Good Luck!
  9. 75% in Tustin, CA lots of the potted trees, some larger trees, fiber optic snowmen, garland and wreaths. Plenty of Chocolate--Hershey Bliss are .82 per bag, Junior Mints (large box) .24, Ziploc Containers .99 for 4 large (I think they recently put those out), wrap, boxes, etc. Lots of red box gifts scattered throughout the area and the store. I bought 49 feet of garland for next year, was happy to find some without lights (2 20 foot boxes and one 9 foot in a cardboard wrap). Bought chocolate, Jr Mints, a couple more Cranium games ($2.24 each), Ziploc containers (love the green for my Girl Scouts), and some misc. "stuff". Women's pj's are marked down, price varies, but I found a nightgown for $1.48.
  10. I've seen them at Target and at Gymboree. They are a lot less expensive at Target.
  11. Tustin, CA still at 50% this afternoon. So is the Dollar Spot.
  12. I was able to get one of those big make up kits for 75% off, Dd will be happy when I give it to her. And the clerk in the beauty aisle had a bunch of extra coupons so I got two St Ives lotions (really BIG bottles) for a total of $4. I use a ton of lotion for dry skin so that will come in handy. I'll have to stop by today and look for chocolate, didn't think of that yesterday!
  13. THANKS! I was able to pick up a bunch of bags and wrapping paper for 75% off in Southern California!
  14. All the holiday baking items were 50% off here--I picked up sugar sprinkles and a couple of spatulas. Also Bounty napkins this afternoon at 50% (they must have just put them out--keep checking if you can), some undies for DD (50% off --$4 for three), hot chocolate mix--three triangle shaped containers in a circle (50%--$3.50), some plain white boxes for shirts (50%--99 cents). I didn't notice any clearance in the Dollar Spot, and couldn't find any Casade. I'll keep checking. And the Scrapbook tins are not half off--they are $17.50 which is the price I paid the week before Christmas. I was hoping to pick up a couple at half off for DD to use for gift exchanges next year.
  15. S'mores pony is marked down at the Tustin Ave store in Orange, CA if anyone needs one...there are two on the top shelf against the wall in the back of the store where holiday and toys meet.....I couldn't read the price, but there where red clearance stickers on both boxes. I picked up a lot of the Burts Bees chapsticks for 50% off, gold paper plates for the Girl Scout Older Girl Recognition in June (Gold Award ceremony, we use gold plates). Couldn't find any plain silver, wrapping paper red with colored dots and bright stripes to use year 'round for birthdays. 20 minute Sorry game and the boxed Cranium games were 50%. Lots of chocolates for the chocoholics who live here. I may go to another Target today, I was fairly wiped out with a cold yesterday.
  16. I placed an order during their sale, received it in about two weeks. I think it came UPS (already wrapped, or I'd go look on the tube....) See if you can get them to give you a tracking number, then try putting the number in the UPS and perhaps Fed Ex tracking sites, maybe it will show up.
  17. You might check Lowe's. They were the best deal I could find when ours died.
  18. I got one for DD at Target, I think it was about $25 or s0---at the store, not online.
  19. Yeah! For $38 I got 3 hardcover books, 4 paperbacks and a baseball scoring thing for my sister. I was so tempted by the many cookbooks, but I'm trying hard to watch my spending, so I'm heading to the library for those.... Lots of great stocking stuffers avaliable, too...but I'm done shopping for those. Really nice giftbooks on America, cooking, gardening, some crafts.
  20. Bitty Baby from American Girls...my Dd only ever had one baby doll, and that's the one, she LOVES her baby (shes 14 now, the doll is in my old doll cradle in her room).
  21. Try a live.com search, they are doing a cashback promotion, put in wii fit and just try the vendors that come up. Good Luck! I know how stressful the Santa Gift can be!!!
  22. DD has one, bought at Target. It's a nice little speaker for the iPod...she likes and so do I. By the way, there are settings in the nose to make the barking stop (I think it's press and hold down the nose).
  23. Check your local office stores like Office Depot, Staples, etc. We bought both of our Kodaks at Office Depot and love them. And they were both under $100....
  24. Skinny jeans are a style, not a brand, if that helps. It just means the legs are skinny. I've bought them for DD at a variety of stores....they look funny to me, but they do look nice on her. I nearly drove myself crazy looking for them until I realized they weren't a brand
  25. I have a friend who decorates cakes--really beautiful cakes. She buys her Wilton supplies at Michael's with the coupon. Says it's cheaper than anywhere else.
