  1. I've bought textbooks at directtextbook.com for several years. It's best to use the ISBN to search, but titile and author will work.
  2. THANKS OP! I was able to get 2 Hebal Esscence Totally Twisted conditioners and an Aussie 3 minute Miracle for $1.88 each. Also picked up 3 gift bags, a Hallmark Winnie The Pooh ornament, and 4 spools of curly ribbon at 90% off. The ribbon ends up being .07 each, so if you are in the store take a look. I got gold, silver, green, and blue.
  3. In our paper it's and extra 25%, and it excludes furniture and mattresses. You might want to call the store and check.
  4. Well, mostly it was desperation! My DD is helping to plan a HUGE Girl Scout event (700+) people and they need tape for the craft. I found some 3 paks in with Christmas, and I decided I had nothing to lose by scanning the single paks. Somtimes I think I scan about 4 things for every one I buy.
  5. Love to Shop--I was so shocked I couldn't even think. I will stay on my toes in the future if I am in that store. I was really worried about the toys--that solar car is for my DH's birthday. I might give a call tomorrow and describe the general circumstances. Really--who takes the stuff out of a customer's cart--isn't the object to get customers to put things in the cart and pay for them? By the way, I checked out the Chefmate cookie pan box--no cooling racks. I did not see any of the Calphanon sets.
  6. I went to a different Target today (Foothill Ranch area in CA). They have a LOT of ornaments, tree stands, stockings and tree skirts. Some wrapping paper, too. Toys are 50%, there is a Spike, but his cardboard box is torn. They were in the process of consolidating the toys. An employee (red jacket, name tag, radio) took all my shopping OUT of my cart and took my cart while I was picking out some wrapping paper. I was soooo shocked. I was looking and looking for the cart, saw him loading up a cart and asked him if he took my cart. He said yes, my shopping was on the endcap. I just looked at him and told him I wanted the cart back. He didn't even apologize! He told me I wasn't near the cart--really the whole space isn't that big, I'm short and was reaching for gift wrap. I didn't have any small childern with me, so I parked the cart out of the way of those with kids.....I'm just happy I got my toys back. In the cosmetics area there are a LOT of ELF gift sets 50% off. ####Solar RC Car $12.50 (50%) #### Clue Arcade $5.00 #### ELF lip gloss $2.50 (50%
  7. Regarding the question of scanning lower than the sticker price--yes, it happens. With some frequency for the toy sale, or as they lower the price on previously reduced items. If you are in the store and you really want it, scan it. If you are calling and they are looking it up in their system, I'd guess that's the correct current price. Glad to hear Spike has found his way to your home!
  8. Our Target had Spike at $65...you might want to scan and not depend on any posted percent off signs...the GeoTrax set I bought was behind a 30% off sign, but was actually 50% off.
  9. Check your craft/sewing stores like Micheal's or Joanns, I've seen the 7' trees there in the last couple of days.
  10. Confessions No Calphanon cookie sheet sets, I was looking. Chefmate set, but it had a lot of things I didn't need--brownie pan, storage containers. I don't remember if it had cooling racks, I'll check next time I'm there.
  11. 90% on Christmas in Tustin, Some toys at 50%, the woman in front of me at check out had Spike the dinosaur, he was $65 plus tax (I forgot to look in toys, so sorry). I picked up a GeoTrack set for the neighbors son for his birthday for $15 (50% off). I have a lot of commitments coming up and I don't want to risk not getting it.
  12. I bought two of these in a solid color for our den, they are generously sized and really warm!
  13. Since DD started physical therapy next door to the Goodwill, I have found a LOT of Target merchandies at the Goodwill in Orange, CA. Sometimes it's more expensive at Goodwill than it was on clearance at Target--of couse you are helping a good organization.
  14. 75% in Tustin CA (Marketplace store). FYI the Scotch brand giftwrap tape with the purple cardboard is .49 each. I found them in the office supplies aisle and scanned them. Lots of ornaments, some garland. The Rite Aid across the street has some lights--led and non led, icicles, nets and swag style--50% off, but those are the only lights I've seen while After Chirstmas Shopping. If you need cookie sheets, check the endcaps, I found Kitchen Essentials by Calphanon 2 cookie sheets, 2 wire racks and a spatula for $10, marked down from $40.
  15. Great find, going quickly. Check the regular beauty tab for additional sets on sale (slightly higher prices, but more choices, codes still work).
  16. I was able to grab the hand soap, trash bags, ziplocs, dish soap etc only because I was at the store at 7am on the 26th. There wasn't much left and by the time I left they were all gone. I think they stores had a LOT less stock this year.
  17. Check Micheal's they had some beautiful trees this year.
  18. Back from Target Clearance, not much there actually. No gift bags, very little wrapping paper. I did get 2 Palmolive dish soaps (snowman on label), 2 Reynolds (snowflake on label), 3 Glad Press n Seal (snowmen) and 2 4-paks of Gladware small bowls (red and green), 4 boxes of holiday themed Puffs ($1 each) and 2 Softsoaps (polar bear)--all were with the Christmas clearance and 50% off. Not much Christmas Candy, the Lifesaver books were all the gummies. Good Luck everyone! ### Palmolive dish soaps (snowman on label) - 50% off ### Reynolds (snowflake on label) - 50% off ### Glad Press n Seal (snowmen) - 50% off ### 4-paks of Gladware small bowls (red and green) - 50% off ### boxes of holiday themed Puffs - 50% off ($1 each) ### Softsoaps (polar bear) ### Christmas candy - 50% off - 50% off
  19. Sweatshirts arrived today, they are look great. Thanks Again!
  20. I was at the Tustin store in the Marketplace today in the 75% Patio Clearance they have about 4 of the Pembrooke patio sets (tables and chairs), a Sean Conway Triverton table and the chairs, a couple of the loveseats (about &65 each), and the rattan looking deep seating with orange cushions--the sectional peices and loveseat (similar pricing). A LOT of the patio clearance is marked at the 50% off price, some of it is 50%, I was told the above items are 75% off. The 38" tables are half off.
  21. I was at the District store in Tustin today and saw an endcap of toys on clearance (30%) mostly toys for infants to preschool age. A toy cash register, light up butterfly those type of things. Not a great deal, but a good deal if you need a toy for someone in that age group!
  22. I've seen them at Micheal's Craft Store.
  23. THANKS! 2 necklaces and a pair of earrings for $27 shipped!
