  1. Lots of markdowns in ladies intimates, bras about $2.50 and underwear 3/$4.48. Also the Champion sportswear was a good deal, but I didn't actually buy and and don't remember the price (sorry!).
  2. Keep in mind that the offical Girl Scout uniforms are changing next year...all uniform pieces are "offical" forever, but the new look for Juniors up will be white polos, khaki bottoms (any brand) and the level sash/vest for insignia. That said, I sure would buy those Brownie sweats if I had anyone that age....
  3. The tiramusu was in a square container, it might have been intended for 2, DH ate it tonight and really enjoyed it (I don't really like it, funny cause I drink coffee and he doesn't). They also had chocolate cheesecake 2 slices in a container marked down to $2. I also saw mashed potatos in a container for $1, they looked like they could be frozen/microwaved easily. I'm going to check back when I'm in that area....
  4. Thanks OP for the tip...I was near a Fresh and Easy today, picked up Mac n Cheese for DD at half off, Tiramusu for Dh, half off, and fruit and vegtables half off as well. Great deals on easy lunches....
  5. Thanks! It's so great that the 40% off even works with the outlet prices...2 tees, earrings, a sweater and pants coming for $69. I love their quality, and those prices are great! FYI you can return to a local store if there is one near you.
  6. Check with a restaurant supply store in the area, they might be willing to sell them to her...
  7. I was able to pick up the Wilton colored sugar (spring colors), confetti dots, and micro sprinkles all for half off. Since DD is in to baking cupcakes, I didn't want to chance them being gone if I waited, so I bought one of each. They were moved into the Easter area with some egg shaped cake molds (cupcake size).
  8. Forgot to mention my Burts Bees find, 2 lipsavers in a pack, half off with the Easter items. The shimmer sticks are one per pack, also half off. We love these and use them year round, so it was a great find for us.
  9. Lots of socks and leggings on sale (juniors) at our Target, Easter had a lot of colored shred, which I use for packages year round, half off. Big bows for .74, lots of odds and ends of stationary--clips, magnets, staples all around .44. Picked up 4 packages of price tags for the garage sale I'm going to get around to having (soon, I hope) for .44 a package. Lots of baby/toddler/childerns Easter tee shirts, skorts, socks and white gloves, now in the Easter section, all half off. Great deal on the gloves/purses for those who might need them for weddings or First Communion (here the girls wear the gloves into church if they want and then take them off).
  10. THANKS! Just ordered one for MIL for her birthday, I'm sure it will be a hit!
  11. Our Scholastic Warehouse is doing the $1 sale this weekend. To find one in your area, check here: http://www.scholastic.com/bookfairs/events/warehouse/ Have fun! Don't forget to register and print a FastPass, it will save you time, and likely money...I always spend more than I think I will..... Tommya
  12. THANKS I ordered popcorn and copper Easter cookie cutters that are a dress, a basket and a chick in an egg. I can use the dress and basket shape for DD's friends....
  13. JoAnne's has an Expression deal currently online. I love my Personal Bug...it's the right size for me. You might check kimskuttingkorner.com I've bought from her in the past and always been pleased, but I bought cartridges, not the machine. Tommya
  14. Old Navy, Land's End, some Targets, Nordstrom's Rack... Can you tell DD needed slims...now 00 or 0;) Tommya
  15. Target is carrying them now, so you might check there.
  16. Shaped erasers, quarters, kid jewelry (the really inexpensive stuff), party necklaces (beaded, Target about $2 for 6). I'd watch for choking with a 2 yr old and things small enought to fit in an egg. When our DD and my nephews where that small, I'd trade the eggs for "tickets" (ie cut up colored paper). At the end of the hunting they would trade the tickets for a prize. The prizes weren't expensive, but it was easier to buy one bigger item and not have to worry about the younger ones. Playground balls, play dough, crayons and coloring books, whatever I had picked up on sale. I still do the egg hunt this way (with the extended family they range in age from 4 to 14). They hunt mutiple times, bigger ones hide the eggs for the little ones, and everyone gets a prize at the end of the day. (money in carrot shaped bags from Micheal's). Makes it easy and it ends up costing less.
  17. I stopped by our local store, which is closing. New releases were $12, previously viewed $7.5--including the TV series. Since they are both spending Saturday helping sort 4,000 cases of Girl Scout cookies, I bought DH House and DD Gilmore Girls, they'll be happy.
  18. Check at Mervyn's when DD was younger I bought her earrings there, and they are really inexpensive when on sale.
  19. Walgreens has Kodak flash disposable cameras, 27 exposures, 2 for $9.99...we bought 2 for DD, she has a couple of events coming up where the school doesn't want to deal with digital cameras getting lost. This was the best deal I could find at short notice, don't know how great it is overall.
  20. Did you sign up for the JoAnn mailer? I usually receive it several days before the sale starts, so it would give you a heads up...
  21. I saw this in the online deals forum, they do have webkinzand you can just order one: www.playfulplushtoys.com $10 off any order of $30 or more! Use Discount code FREETOYS at checkout. Hurry, this discount expires next SUNDAY!
  22. Nope, they never tried, and my DD was trying to climb out of her crib pretty young. My oldest nephew balked at getting in (big boy stage) so for a while we just let him "camp out" on bath towels on sleep mats (like those used at preschools), It really made the situation very managable. Tommya
  23. Our Dd and my two nephews went to my parents house every weekend,(Mom was sick and we were helping out) and a least one night a week. We never put up a crip there. We used the pack n play--it was a lifesaver. And we did this until we lost Mom, the youngest was 4 then, so it got a lot of use! I'd check the Target clearance for a pack n play, but if you reallly want the crib, I'd check Target or a local Childern's consigment (try Childern's Orchard) they ususally have them.
  24. Thanks! 3 glass vases, 5 pair of earrings, shipped for $35. DD is going to be one happy girl!
  25. I'd wait to buy them on your next trip, and take her car to the Target or Babies R Us and see what fits best. When our DD was still in a carseat (she's 13 now) we had to return several because they just didn't fit in the car properly. I liked the Gracos, she also had the 5 point harness "booster" that we used for years.
