  1. Thanks, OP! Shipping on two was $4.99, so the total for two (with coupon code) came to $14.57. The kids will love them this winter!
  2. I looked at the reviews on cnet.com and thought for the value of this combo, the price is hard to beat. The same reviewer on cnet rated the V and W 3.5 stars. The V actually rated a bit better for brightness/contrast, but lower for features, because it lacks the internet capability. Both compared really favorably to the XBR. The main criticism is that the dark blacks tend to show shades of dark blue. They conduct their tests in completely darkened test rooms, so I'm hopeful I won't notice that in our normal living room. Otherwise they both rated nicely for shadow detail. At $950 for the pkg, that really makes the V-class TV value at about $600-$650, and the W $750-800. I've never seen Sony that price.
  3. An update... Best Buy this week has expanded the Sony package sales! And some are even cheaper now. Last week in store, I paid $1099 for the W class. Now the V class is packaged for just $950. I'm seriously considering switching from the W to the V to save the extra $150. I purchased in-store, and yes, it came with free delivery. It hasn't been delivered yet, though. It appears the V actually has better actual contrast, but lacks the internet capabilities of the W class. But with the PS3, you can stream the same internet, so you don't need it on both the TV and PS3... so I really don't need the W. I'll update with the final decision... The site is: www.bestbuy.com/sonytvps3. But don't forget to check your store. It could be cheaper. My store had the W for $1099, not $1290.98 listed below. If you scroll down below the video and below "follow these steps," click the link that says, "See the savings based on the HDTV that you choose." It will show: 46" Class V5100 (sku #9223805): $1,599.99 TV + $299.99 PS3 System + $59.99 PS3 Game + $29.99 Blu-ray Movie = $1,989.96 Regular Price - $610 TV Savings - $428.98 Package Savings = $950.98 Package Price 46" Class W5100 (sku #9343105): $1,699.99 TV + $299.99 PS3 System + $59.99 PS3 Game + $29.99 Blu-ray Movie = $2,089.96 Regular Price - $370 TV Savings - $428.98 Package Savings = $1,290.98 Package Price
  4. BestBuy has some decent prices on Sony Bravia TV combos... and interestingly the prices are cheaper in-store than online. You can see the packages online at: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/TV-Video/Televisions/abcat0101000.c?id=abcat0101000 Look for the ones listed under "Hot TV Deal of the Week." I purchased the W-class 46" model today for $1099 ($1179 with tax). It includes the television, a 120 GB PlayStation 3, choice of 1 of three featured Sony PS3 games, and choice of 1 of three featured Sony BluRay disks. I got the TV ($1300 regular), PS3 ($299), Uncharted 2 ($60), and Taking of Pelham 123 ($20?). Total again was $1099 in-store. Online package listed at $1290. I would have bought the PS3 for my kids, and Uncharted 2 is one of the top-selling PS3 games this year on Amazon, so if I consider this worth $350, then this brings the TV to about $850! I think the packages end this weekend, possibly December 5th. Includes free delivery, also. This is also much cheaper than the TV/PS3 combo on sonystyle.com, which is $1349 there without the game or disc.
  5. The deal must have ended... TV now at $989 and BluRay at 203.90, no discount at checkout. That was a great deal!
  6. Looks like the sale ended... Just tried to buy and it's back to $199 with no discount in cart or during checkout.
  7. I've been trying to find a generic code, but can only find ones for a % off specific products, like certain camcorders or laptops. If anyone knows of a generic Dell coupon code, my kids would greatly appreciate it!
  8. Thanks! Would you possibly have the coupon code? Thanks a lot!
  9. Hi everone, I would love to find Pictionary Man for my sister, but looks like it's one of the "hot" items.. If anyone sees it pop up in stock on amazon or anywhere, I would greatly appreciate a note. Thanks a lot! Eric

  11. You're right.. I just checked and it's gone as a $49 item sold by Amazon. The item is listed, but from other sellers only at $89.99 and up. Still 3.5 stars, you can find it by searching item "DPF-0802" or "DPF0802." Who knows, it may pop back up!
  12. This is also on sale at Amazon for the same $49.99. The link is at amazon, sorry I'm new, can't post links. Just search for "DPF0802" and it will come up. Amazon lists it at $187 retail. 3.5 stars, screen resolution 800x600 and plays mpegs.
