  1. If you need white, Walmart in the office supplies area.
  2. Our Micheal's takes the Joann's coupons on the items both stores carry....so sign up for the J's mailer and you can use the coupon either place.
  3. Love my Whirlpool, from Lowes, still going strong, bought it about 9 years ago. Good Luck!
  4. See if you have a Childern's Orchard, it's a resale store, the one in our area sells furniture as well. And I have seen GREAT deal's at Target, they just had a Graco travel system (full size stroller, infant carseat) for about $50. Congrats on the new addition to your family.
  5. For replacement rolls of paper, check with your local newpaper for end of rolls...assuming the rolls you have are the width of a sheet of newpaper. Our local paper will give them to you for free...they also make great table coverings for campouts for our Girl Scouts... Just a thought, DD, now 13 went through tons of paper!
  6. I picked up a light weight wool blend cable v neck sweater for me for $4.xx, the signs still say 30% off, but an employee was putting new stickers on the sweaters. They also had the v-neck cable sweaters, all in the clothes clearance area. It's perfect for winter here (SoCalif). Toys were all gone, the only Valentine's Day was in the Dollar Spot...a lot of the summer outdoor furniture was out.
  7. We have 3 Kodaks and love them all, just bought the last one for my shutterbug DH, he's picky about camera lenses, etc and he loves it. His is the one with the really zoom lenses, DD and I have the pocket size ones and they take great pics. The software is super easy and has plenty of photo edit features for us.
  8. Yippee The store at the District (Jamboree and Barranca) went 75% on Toys, they have a Butterscotch pony if anyone needs it---lower shelf in a brown cardboard box, picture was not visable when I was there, so if you look closely it might still be there. I got a Torpedo, which projects movies onto a wall (or games, digital pics, etc) originally $160, now $40, a Scene it for Harry Potter 2 $6.42 and some misc other items. then I went to the Barranca and Culver store, they had a lot more stuff, including the Toyota 4x4 RC truck, now $15 (got one for my Dad to play with the grandkids), Elmo through the years, now $7.50, another projector for my sister, a Pirates of the Carribean Scene it for $6.45 and a Mad Gab for my DD for $7.??? They have a lot of toys stacked up on top of the shelving unit, so check there if you are looking for something. There were a lot of the Barbie throne chairs. Have fun, everyone!
  9. They are in the process of fixing the website. If you call the 800 # they will adjust the order over the phone, before things go out of stock. I bought: necklace, orig 49.50 now 4.00 Travel knit dress 88.?? now 12.99 Wrap top 49.50 now 7.99 THANKS OP!
  10. Bought new shoes that arrived yesterday and I'm very impressed. I should have ordered more! Thanks OP!
  11. I overhead some employees talking on the radio system while at Target at Tustin Ranch this morning--all Christmas Clearance is going to salvage tomorrow. They found a pallet of gift boxes and have put those out, so if anyone in the area needs Gift boxes, get them while you can. Toys still at 30%, vacums at 15%..... The only Playmobil toys I saw were the little "add on" pieces (a person and an object) that goes with the larger sets.
  12. The site is slow, but patience pays off, I got Tink flannel pjs, a Pirates of the Carribean henley and a Tink picture frame for DD for $34, shipped. They have the fleece throws for $5 after the extra discount, I bought a bunch at 40% off for birthdays, and next Christmas. They are really nice and a good size, too.
  13. Around here, it's Office Depot. But if there is a local business supply/print shop near your mother's house, she might want to call there, our local place is cheaper.
  14. Hmmm that looks scary to me! I don't think I would use it...it just doesn't look safe. Of course, DD is 13 now so it's not really relevant....
  15. My laptop died this week--right as I am getting ready to oversee the Girl Scout Cookie Sale for 30+ troops in my area. DH did some research, BestBuy has a Compaq for around $630 that did what I needed, but he got an even better deal at Office Depot, instore special, not advertised for $450, includes a $180 mail in rebate. So, try both if you have them both in your area. It's a 15.4 inch screen with a gigabyte of memory, 120 gig harddrive. (Don't ask me what that means, I have no idea. DH says it's what I needed for Cookies, PTA Financial Records and some scrapbook stuff I do...and of course email and internet). hope this helps!
  16. We did AG with DD, now 13. She has Bitty Baby, it was her first and only baby doll; Kirsten who looks like DD; and Kit (gift from a family member). She loves those dolls. When she was younger they went everywhere with us, even on vacation. The quality is so exceptional they are all in excellent condition despite being dragged around for years. They are something she will have forever. I didn't know about My Twinn or we might have done those....
  17. Try shipfor5 for $5 shipping, not sure if it's still good. I was able to stack it with the extra 40% off.
  18. Thanks! I picked up pants and a shirt for under $20. I didn't see any peacoats, but I'm in Southern California, so they may not have stocked many....
  19. The Rival Roaster Oven is so wonderful! I paid full price for mine a few years ago and it's worth every penny. I use on the holidays, it makes great, moist turkey (I do two turkeys for Thanksgiving), I put 20+ pounds of potato casserole in there, heated it all up, put it in a cardboard box in the car and drove for an hour and a half to take it to a family Christmas Eve and just plugged it back in when we arrived....worked great. I've enven cooked a roast in it outside in the summer (way to hot to heat up my house, and tired of bbq stuff). I have not used it for baking, but for an extra "roasting" oven it can't be beat. Your sister will love it! And I might have to pick up another one for that price :-)
  20. Stopped at the Santa Ana Target to find that Christmas was 90% off ...not much left, but I went over the the Target at the District and got two boxes of the small trees (3 trees, 3ft high with lights), lots of wrap, bags and lights still at that store...and those boxes of wrap, ribbon and bags. White tissue paper, stick on bows and gift tags in great supply. I got an amarylis, too. I like to plant those now for Valentines Day. 3 pair of snowflake earrings for DD for 69 cents, she's happy. I wish I hadn't listened to the operator--I called this morning and was assured that they were still at 75%....and then she said she didn't think it would go any lower. That should have clued me in that she wasn't really sure :-) Toys still at 30%
  21. The solar lights were at the District, Jamboree and Barranca Parkway, in the housewares area. I saw them at the Target on Irvine Blvd (Tustin Marketplace) two days ago, in back near the bicycles--they were $29 then. There is no brand on the box, it just says Solar Light Value Pak. They are brownish plastic with led lights (I really like they way they look, they look a lot more expensive). The DPCI number is 009110588....hope that helps! They had more sets at Tustin Marketplace than at the District, perhaps because they were only 50% off, when I was there.
  22. I found solar lights, 10 pack for $14.00, org $59.99, Yeah! Christmas still 75%, and no baby markdowns...I was really hoping for a bouncy seat on sale as my Dad want to give one for a baby gift (I generally do his gift shopping, it's easier on both of us :-) They were consolidating, moving the toy section at the District store on Jamboree, but it's still at 30%.
  23. Saw them on clearance at Target yesterday, but didn't really pay attention to the details of the discount....my Dad raises birds, and I've had plenty of real macaws in my life :-)
  24. Candles, coasters, bath salts, books (like National Geographic specialty, World Wildlife Fund),pens, to go coffee cup/tumbler things, jigsaw puzzles (my Dad loves those), fuzzy slipper socks, heat pack pillows....
