  1. I was at the Tustin Marketplace store--the one on Jamboree and Irvine Blvd. I didn't notice any grills, but I wasn't particularly looking for them. There are a lot of Christmas Trees in the garden section, and the floor is slick with pine needles so be careful. The patio furniture is towards the back of the garden section. There are some of the black iron folding pieces hanging on display racks, but not all of them are on sale or clearance. There are benches and swings, too.
  2. Lots of 50% garden gloves, aprons with tools etc in our garden section today. And 50% patio furniture and gazebos. I may have to consider buying one of those....
  3. Lip Balms are $3 if you need a filler since the grab bag price has changed. :)
  4. I goggled novelties and came up with several stores---windy city novelties and Fun Express look good to me, but I have no personal experience with either one.
  5. Christmas eve is a huge family event, host chooses main dish, everyone brings sides/desserts/snacks. Christmas Day is ravioli, meatballs, sausage and ham, potato casserole, some vegtable I will decide on, sour dough rolls (unless I do parker house). Appetizers and desserts.
  6. Joanns sent me an email, they are extending the sale due to website problems. Code EDC334B should work for free shipping. By the way, if you are new to Cricut, some of the cartridges are "solutions" or "seasonal". These have a LOT fewer cuts on them. They can be just what you need, and the sale price isn't awful, but it isn't great either. The sale price on the full cartridges is excellent. The full carts come in boxes that look like VHS tape boxes, they are similarly displayed on the website. I love my Cricut. I hope this helps someone.
  7. If you need cartridges for the Cricut, Jo Anns will have them for $29 tomorrow. I LOVE my Cricut!
  8. Check Costco, they have a multi pack in their ad....which I can't find right now.
  9. Check Costco, I don't have the ad with me, but they had some food baskets that looked like good values.
  10. Ultimate Plush throw arrived today, great color, really, really soft, large size. Thanks again!
  11. Cricut carts are on sale at Micheals--around $29 or so. JoAnns has them at similar pricing.
  12. I did two separate orders and have received shipping notices for both. THANKS OP!
  13. Walmart is supposed to have them on Black Friday for $189.
  14. THANKS! I put "plush throw" in the search box and it was avaliable--it's on the way. Great deal!
  15. Check the Cricut message board, there are ususally deals posted there (general chat). Last year Michaels and Wal mart had the expression for Black Friday. I'm debating...I love my current Cricut (baby bug), I'm not sure I would do that much more with the Expression....
  16. Thanks! Just ordered Twisted Peppermint for DD for St Nicholas Day--shipped to the house for less than I could buy it by going to the store
  17. I tried to return some items purchased with a credit card over the weekend. First time the clerk said the transaction wasn't in the system yet, went back Sunday and the clerk kept insisting I didnt pay for them with the credit card...very bizarre, I only use 1 card. Went home, found the receipt (thought I had it with me, but didn't) and tried again...with the receipt they could find the transaction. I think they were having computer problems.
  18. Thanks! I just ordered Harry Potter for DD....by the way, I had no problems receiving the pre-order book from Target, it arrived 2 days after the pub release date. I love these deals!
  19. Our DD is now 15, she still has her AG dolls and they are in excellent condition. She received Bitty Baby when she was 18 months old, that doll went everywhere with us for years. I mean everywhere--to my parents (my mom was ill, we were there often), to my in-laws, on vacation, to the park, the beach....when Kristen was added, she traveled, too (went to Alaska). I have never had another doll last like that, or be in the same condition year after year. I bought the Bitty Baby package all those years ago, gave her the doll and the teddy bear for Christmas, and got several additional gifts out of the grouping.
  20. I bought several bags of chips for school lunch for DD, paper towels, paper napkins, and paper plates--the dessert size are perfect for Thanksgiving appetizers & desserts. Books, stuffies, playdough and a baby outfit (going to a baby shower next week). DD really wanted one of those black throws, it was 50% so I bought one, it is very soft and a good size. Softsoap was 50% I bought the ones with the pumkins, so they will be in the bathrooms until I decorate for Christmas. Candy varied from 30% to 50% off, depending on what type of candy.
  21. Dollar Spot in Irvine Spectrum went 75%, reasonable selection left, I got some Seseme Street books for the neighbor's childern. In Tustin, it was much more picked over, but a lot of the ribbon spools left.
  22. I have had very good experience with Footballl Fanatics--really excellent customer service in getting a "lost in shipping" sweatshirt replaced and to me in time for Christmas. Great people to work with!
  23. Thanks! WINNER in all caps worked, I can't wait to get this package.
