  1. Yea! I got to our Target when it opened this morning, for a little while it was just me, one other shopper, and the Target re-pricing crew. I got a Barbie Cruise Boat ($10), Thomas the train set ($10), Cars parking garage thing ($10), a huge Matchbox set ($8.xx), Cars battling trucks ($7.xx), Little People Airport ($10). I'm done toy shopping for bithdays and most of Christmas....oh, and some American Bicycle Electronic Card Games, ($3.50). Everything was 75%. This was the store in Tustin on Irvine and Jamboree.
  2. Love my Nook. And I really didn't think I would like it. Great selection of free books from BN, easy to download from the library, you can share books. I bought my refurbished from Best Buy with wifi and 3G. I've even downloaded books at my dad's, where there is no internet connection. Great battery life, too.
  3. Quick trip, we found a Christmas light checker, which we really need. They were taking all the pink dot (75% off) Dollar Spot out of the area, so I suspect they may skip the 90% at least for some items. I did see some toys I may be stalking for future purchase.
  4. If you don't find the ziplocs, gladware, softsoap etc in the holiday aisle, check the regular store location. I have found them in both places, sometimes in both places in the same store.
  5. The reynolds wrap, Gladware and Ziploc containers were all with the Christmas towels (everything was consolidated into one area). The tape and sissors were with the giftwrap in a cardboard bin. I used coupons for the Reynolds Wrap and Ziploc containers from the Sunday coupons, I just paperclip them to a Target list on the refrig, so they are ready for post-holiday shopping. Be careful with the Reynolds Wrap, there is regular and heavy duty....the heavy duty has a lot less in the box.
  6. Back from a quick stop--We found Reynolds Wrap, Gladware containers, Ziploc containers (odd gold color), bounty papertowels, scotch magic tape, sissors and the usual gift tags and riboon. Oh, and Softsoap. Everything was 50% off. And the cashier keyed in my coupons :).
  7. Just back from a quick trip, I picked up some candy (30%), a couple of stuffed toys (50%), some decor items (50%). My big find was the bag of classic chips, the lunch bags in te big bag for 50% off. That will take care of D's lunch until the winter holiday. Check the Halloween aisle and the regular chip row, the outer bag has a black "vampire" on the front.
  8. Women's tshirts on clearance for $2. Lots of colors/sizes. short sleeve, crew neck. I picked up a couple.
  9. Fiestaware is on sale for approx $27 a 5 piece place setting. Then apply the SEPTEMBER30 code for an additional 30% off. Wedding gift of 4 place setting, shipped, gift wrapped for $90.
  10. Good deal on Claritin if anyone needs some--$5 off, combine with additional $5 coupon from Smart Source 8/29. Total is $10 off, so 40 Claritin D's for $15. Arizona Tea is $2 (limit 4) thru tomorrow. You need the coupon from the two day sale, our store had them in the store.
  11. Staples has the huge filler paper package on special this week....I think it's 250 sheets for about $4....not super cheap but a reasonable price for good quality. DD takes tons of notes, then uses them to review for AP tests, I don't want her to deal with the awful paper. I also picked up a bunch of 3x5 cards. She uses thousands of those!
  12. You could try Walmart--I buy it there, but I buy white. I do think they have the bright colors, but I can't remember for sure.
  13. THANKS! Great deal and our office is low on paper. You can combine this with Staples Rewards if you have any, no problems.
  14. Great Claritin deal--I used the mfg coupon for $4 and the $5 from the Walgreens ad....so $9 off a package of Claritin. YEA!!!!
  15. Have you checked Michael's Craft Store? I know they have the American Girl Craft kits in the stores now, so maybe they have other party supplies.
  16. Thanks for the heads up on Target garden/patio...I need one more folding black iron patio chair. I might just pay full price or sale price (gasp!) to complete the sitting area. I'm bought most of our patio/outdoor stuff at Target, on clearance. Great prices, but not much profit for the store. I don't buy many plants there...mostly the Farmer's Market, seeds or Lowes.
  17. Bulk items are at 15% at our Target Loves to Shop, register at the Scholastic Warehouse sale for notices of their sales, lots of books at great prices....I went to every sale when DD was in elementary grades.
  18. Made a quick dash around the store (Dh was with me) and found the Maguires Car Wash kits for 75% off. And a Rejuvenation Total body Strengthing Kit, also 75% off...which is great--DD is still doing physical therapy for her knee, this will make things easier for her on the days she isn't with the therapist. Both items were in the same area as the jumbo packages...which were 15% off. xxxxx Maguires Car Care Kit $5, originally $20 75% off xxxxx Rejuvenation Total Body Strengthing Kit, $4.48, originally $17.99, 75% off
  19. Thanks for posting, I'm off to find my manufacturers coupons and will be going to Rite Aide tomorrow.
  20. I buy for gifts...I'm nearly done with the extended family for next Christmas, I have birthday gifts for my neighbors 2 little ones. I like to give a nice gift, but I also like being a SAHM to our DD. Shopping ahead, on clearance helps me do both. I also give several items to Toys for Tots each year. We have the storage space, so it makes sense to buy on clearance and store it. It also makes the holidays much less stressful!
  21. You might check Walgreens Christmas clearance, I think I saw some there. If not, try Micheal's Craft Store--get all the coupons you can from neighbors, their website, etc....
  22. For those looking for housewares, they are starting to mark down the Paula Deen...I found a great small sauce pan, with a copper bottom really heavy weight for $20, originally $29. I don't need it, but you might want to keep an eye on them. Just FYI I bought some Cuisinart frying pans at TJMaxx that are fabulous...I wanted one for the color--rasberry that matches my kitchen--but we loved it, so I went back and bought two more. No lids, but those are seriously great frying pans. The Orange, CA Target on Tustin Ave had not marked down the toys as of yesterday afternoon. I did buy a jewelry armoire for DD--cherry to match her bedroom, originally $129, we got it for $32. Great find, large drawers, lots of places to hang neckaces. Who knows, I may even see the top of her dresser sometime soon.
  23. Tustin, CA (both the Marketplace and the District) were 75% off this am. Limited supplies, but most on one or two aisles for easy shopping. The Marketplace store (Jamboree and Irvine Blvd) has about 6 of the SmartCycles, among other toys. I got the Sit and Spin Musical for %5.48, Parents GO-Bot for $8.44, a huge My Little Pony Playset for $11, a classic toy pull string bee for $3.48. The Marketplace store had several of the Trio Castles when I left. The Jewelry Armoires are really marked down--75% or more off. They are at the District Store they had about 5 different models, the largest one was $46. I thought it was a small dresser/lingere chest at first.
  24. Toys still at 30-50% in Tustin, CA. But I picked up a CoolARoo triangle shade sail for 75% off. ($25). Found it in the garden department, they also had a package of Cool A Roo fabric that you could use in between the beams on a patio cover, also 75%, sprinklers, some planters, pool/spa cholrine holders (rubber ducks) it was all 75% off. And the 38" square patio tables were $17.48 (75%). ###Coolaroo Shade 75% off
