Congratulations to everyone! I look forward to this every year!

When my mom first go divorced many many moons ago, it was just her and I the first year - I was in my late 20's - we ate at the only place open in -Denny's and shopped at the only place open - Walgreen's! Fast forward over 25 years that is one Thanksgiving that I still remember clearly! You and your son are making new and fabulous memories !

I love going out on Christmas Eve even if I have everything on my list! I love the energy before the holiday and there is NO pressure! If I find a little something here and there that is great!

thanks! I got signed up for notification from Target and Amazon but will be watching overnight on the 10 th i have done that! Printed up a picture of the item and wrapped in a box! Went over well!

Anyone who has been Black Friday shopping for a very long time would all agree we would like to go back to the way it was. But every year when I think that I won't really care I get that itchy, anxiety feeling and HAVE get up at 1 am on Thanksgiving Day to go online. I agree with other people who have posted you still need to get out there- I now go to Petsmart on Friday morning. It's fulfills desire ( used loosely!) to stand in line, fill my cart with great deals and chat with other BFers that are out and wear my Gotta Deal shirts. On the way home I swing by other stores along the way and see what's left or on sale. It makes me happy and I have come to enjoy the new Black Friday!

I always have some cash for the times that the machines go down (happens at least once every year!) or the cash only lanes when getting smaller items.

OHH KBToys I forgot about them! They had awesome BF sales

HA! That is exactly what mine is getting from Santa iTunes was always a good one but now we have Apple Music so that counts out one of the gifts... We have a couple that sit on the end tables. Everyone picks them up to play even guests! Those were some great ideas! Sometimes the stuff that is right in front - you miss!

They have only been out a couple months - they range in the $300 area.

I miss the 72 hr shopathon at Garden Ridge (now At Home)- they were open 72 hrs straight! We would start there at 3am before we went to the 5/6 am openings.

Trying to get this managed before Christmas Eve....lol.. Need ideas for DH and DD young teen. I think that I have killed all of the other ideas from previous years (which were great!). I feel like I can only do so many gift cards and novelty candy that never gets eaten. Help !

Does anyone know or heard anything about the Fossil Smartwatches? I like the styles better but have not heard anything regarding how well they actually work.

I want one every year, but when it comes time to shell out the money I get chicken! I need someone to get it for me, but not my husband since it would essentially be paid for by me! lol

I have been shopping BF since 1998. Kmart was the only store open on Tday for shopping early- then they would close and reopen on BF for more sales. I LOVED getting up early and not everyone knew about Black Friday- it was like a club! When I finally convinced my mom and sister to go they were hooked! I do love online shopping now early on Thanksgiving morning and get my "fix" of early BF line waiting and excitement when I go to PetSmart Friday morning! New and different can be good also.

Mine is January 1st so everyone was always broke and too hungover to care...lol

Walmart layaway is my time to get myself something big for me!!! Oh yeah and buy for others. Lol

I bought my dd's big gift so it's all easy shopping going forward. No stress! Yea!!!

Couple of hours of trying..... blah... all while the stupid Walmart ads are on TV!
