  1. Got it. Dolphin browser on Android phone. Just kept flipping back and forth between this tab and the bb tab and after a few reloads it just went through. Looks like persistence is key as their servers are handling the load as fast as they can.
  2. Yet again big openings conflict with the Cowboys game at 4:30. Sorry retailer's, my team takes precedence.

  5. **Update from OP** I decided to try my luck with emailing customer service and detailed the situation and they offered to sell me the laptop at the confirmed price and offered free rush shipping for my inconvenience! I never thought I'd get a better response from an email than a live person, but I did. Just wanted to share this with you all. I'm happy I can continue to shop at Walmart without having a negative opinion of them in my mind! Thanks to all who commented with messages of support. See you all next year!
  6. Ordered the 249 hp touchscreen laptop for my son on 11/27. Order confirmed, email said it would be available for pickup at my store the next day. Saturday came and went with no email. Today (Sunday) I get an email telling me my order was cancelled because it wasn't in stock but I'm more than welcome to re-order it (at full price) to pick up at another store. So I go online and it says it will be in stock at the same store on Thursday. I call Walmart and said instead of cancelling my order, I would like to just wait and pick it up Thursday at the price I paid for it. The rep I talked to had no interest in satisfying me, repeatedly telling me that the order was cancelled and that they wouldn't price match a black Friday price. So I missed other opportunities to purchase a discounted item because I was under that an order confirmation from Walmart actually meant that my order was confirmed and now they want me to pay full price. Its not the end of the world, but it's the principle of this poor business practice that bothers me. I just wanted to share with everyone on here and I'll make myself feel better by driving a half mile down the road to target and giving them my business that had been going to Walmart. I know Walmart will survive without me, but if they annoy enough people into taking action, eventually they'll feel it in the bottom line. Hope y'all had more success than me. See you next year!
  7. I doubt the traffic is unprecedented...they were just unprepared for it. If that's the case, don't make us wait up until 1am to find out that their crap website can't handle it. They've lost my business.

  9. A note of caution regarding the Maxtor drives. I've gotten two of them over the past three years and both have conked out on me due to failed power supplies. Just wanted to share this with you all.
  10. I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. Even after reading the FANTASTIC research provided in this thread i was undecided between the tomtom one and navigon at Staples. I thought I'd get them both then try them and return the one I didn't like. I did this, but the Tomtom was impossible to get out of the plastic container it came in without destroying it. I have decided to keep the navigon. Do you think staples will be understanding when I return it without the plastic it came in? Trust me, there was no way to open it and keep the plastic intact. I almost cut off my finger trying to get it out! Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

  12. I forgot about the boycott but OD was the best place I visited. Manager stood outside answering questions at 5:30 until everyone was satisfied. Let us in 10 minutes early. Everyone was very helpful and very friendly. It was like they knew they had to make up for the ad thingy...
  13. You might want to check the fine print on those. I have heard that you can only use 3.00 of bucks per item...
