I am keeping the star station on the go unless I find this. I have arranged my schedule today to run past walmart, target and toys r us. When I was perimeter shopping in target the other day I did not see anything like this... You guys are great!!!!

Definately wait, Deal Grabber is right - I know that I was in TRU the other day and they had the pink. My son has his and has moved on, so my daughter gets the blue !!! Do you have a Kohls by you - all their Leapster stuff is on sale.... 20, 25, 30% something like that - I just kind of glanced at them.

I have always wondered if they worked right and stayed on??? How about the retro look candle ones?

All Barbie is 40% off and books are 15% - I had a shopping spree today. There is a $10 GC for $50 spent on Kohls card.

My son had a meltdown one year it got lost, so I get the catalogue from the grandparents, etc to have when it gets lost, ripped etc... That is sooo funny!

Sometimes it feels like a trip to Disney would be less expensive, less hassle and more fun!!!!

All of these choices are great! I went it Kohls this morning because the FP was 50% - went for the MP3 (that was the only was she was going to get it !) but ended up getting the star station portable (no MP3). It is reg 27.99 and is 50% a:yup: nd it comes with one cartridge and is available in blue and pink! I ended up paying $12.99 ...

I bought my daughter a brand new, girls RL Polo cable knit sweater at the thrift store the other day for $2.50. My family thinks that I am the smartest shopper ever and would be surprized if I paid full price for anything! The trick is to find the "deal" - something that shouldn't be there ! I have gotten things from resale stores that were passed off as new, but were mismatched and obviously something purchased because they had to.. that is what makes it a bad gift - new or otherwise!

That is a good idea...I will have to look around to see if I can find one that is not too fragile... I also saw that the starmaker karaoke has a portable player, but I wasn't too thrilled about the songs. They seemed too old:confused:

I had the same question the other day ... Kohls had the glitter wings Barbie for 40% - I knew that my daughter wanted it, but should I hold out? Nothing stinks worse than waiting and then not being able to find it. 40% and a gift off the list - Buy it now if its important - Not so much , let it ride !!!!

LMAO - I remember my mom having the same "issue" when we were young!! I store all my christmas decorating stuff in those rubbermaid boxes, so i kind of shift them around and mark the boxes with presents with a little X. The big stuff goes to a friends house, who's husband has mercy on me and will put it together before they bring it over Christmas Eve after the kids are asleep!!

Ok, I was already to get the new Fisher Price MP3 player for my daughter (who will be 4 in Jan) until I saw the price. I think that she is about a year too young for this $79 item. She loves music and loves to sing, so this is a great idea and I am sure very indestructable - but i would love to find something a little less expensive!! Thanks for the help:cheesy:

In the last couple of years, I have gotten up early on T Day (no kmart anymore ) and went to the grocery store, which also has a starbucks - two birds there..... lol

Every year I let the kids pick their tin, the popcorn is donated to the class for snacks, and they have a new-up to date trash can!!

That is how we played on them when we were young. I would never let my daughter do it now. Her Godmother's 4 yr old son fell off and broke his leg ( they had the net and his older brother was there supervising him) and I had a client who's son bounced too close to the edge and tried to correct and fell off and broke his neck. He was 11 and also had someone there with him to supervise. So its a no go for mine.....

I took advantage of the TRU b1g11/2 off for the movies ( barbie, My little Pony) Barbie Glitter Wings at Kohls for 40% off, stocking stuffers almost done. Waiting for BF for the doll selections...I am hoping that my 3yr old will give some kind of hint for the big gift.

If I buy these before Christmas, its a last minute gift ans it KILLS me to pay full price knowing that in a couple of days they will be 1/2 off... Yes, I have waited to do "christmas get together" after to take advantage of the sales...

My ex and I always got the armorall gift pack every year from his friend. It lasted all year and we loved it. Then he got a new girlfriend and she thought that it was terrible!! We all laughed on Christmas when we asked where the gift set was... I had to buy it on clearance that year, but we got back on track the next year!!!!

I finally got the time to go today... I bought some sheets for my daughters bed 75% off 250 thread count for 6.24 - reg 24.00 Yea! I also bought a barbie short outfit for next spring for $3.68 !! My dollar spot is still reg price - I was disappointed with the fact that there was really nothing on clearance in any of the departments other than what I found.

Last year I went with my husband, not my girlfriend.... I don't think that they get it!! But I met several people at walmart, before the 6am unveiling. We all helped each other out. I got three of one thing, and the others did the same. None of us had to choose which doll or toy to get our daughters!!! But it is WAY more fun to go with a friend!!!
