My DD who was 12 at the time asked to go with me but I was hesitant as I don’t agree with kids being out in the chaos. We decided that she would “man” the cart and stay in the lingerie section at WalMart. Lol. I got to get what I needed and brought it back to her instead of having the cart with me and she got to see what it’s all about. She has no desire to go back! I miss driving by the neighborhood yogurt store on Thanksgiving morning and taking their paper with the Black Friday ads.....heeheeehee.... The former Circuit City place is now a Toys R Us by me ..... shades of ghosts past? Loved Service Merchandise ! My dad would shop there when he was single for myself and my sister for our presents . I think he could find a kind women to help him there ! LOL I still use the crystal candy dish that I got from him one Christmas still !

Bought this for DD 14 last year in Sept/Oct and just hid it. She loves it and it seems to be holding up to teenage care ! She plays SIMS on hers all the time - I have not heard any complaints. I need a new one for me since mine is 7 yrs old and slooooowww... sorry I bought the red on for her now....

I think that Walmart had it also at that price, but my target check out was quicker. My DD and I mentioned to my DH how this was coming out (this was when it made its first debut) and he went and stood in line at midnight to get it. I have to say that we all still enjoy it and it was worth the headache to get. I had heard they are coming out with more at Christmas and that is why it hasnt been available lately, Make sure you are checking at Game Stop. They also had the cordless controllers that we well worth the price !
