A couple of years ago I went to SAMS for the upgrade special. There were 40 people in line to make appts. They told me they could get to me the following Tuesday! lol

OHHH we got a Montgomery Wards catalog in the mail this week.... I thought that I was time traveling...lol.

Hoping to get all my Walmart stuff online so I only have go to the stores that I want to on Friday.... In the last couple of years this is the only store that I HAVE to go into to get my deals. I will be in Heaven if I can get everything I want online this year. Will be very sleepy on Thanksgiving Day, but that is Oooooo Kkkkkkk!

Are their BF ad sale items usually available online? Would like to have it delivered to my office instead of hiding at the house! Never done a BF at Gamestop - looks like this year will be the first...lol.

I don't know if they were necessarily the best deal, but they prices were right and I don't have to worry about not finding it closer to Christmas. Both are robes for DH and DD - need extended big mans for DH and got it for $30 instead of the $80 it will be in the next month. DD and a couple more presents were more of a too cute wont be there later thing...lol.

Just found out that my BF shopping this year will be alone..... Nothing I haven't done before.....like I would stay home......baahaahaaaa.... LOVE that! Good for you!

I already found a deal for my SIL for Thanksgiving online so now I have "requests" coming in. That will keep me busy until MY ads come out and then I can drop them....lol.

My SIL is looking for a great deal also, so I sent her a screen shot..... I am her Black Friday link...lol.

Yes, Yes, Yes..... this is so meee!!! I get anxiety driving to the store - I guess my fear is that everything is gone or I haven't looked at the ads right and I am going to miss out on something wonderful. Online, I am in a panic when it goes slow and I have to wait...then I start thinking that I might have to go to the store if this doesn't work and did I know when everything is opening and.... and.... and..... The most funny part about this is that I am usually shopping for things for the house, or as a family. Nothing for gift really. Then it dawns on me that it really doesn't matter because I have been Christmas shopping for months and if everything WAS gone, I still have presents. Wait, after reading that, why do I love Black Friday? lol...... Yes, that is awesome! It is a sport that requires skill and planning and a bit of chance and luck. I will think of it more this way and know that I will be winning a championship of shopping! Yessssssss!!!!!

This is an AWESOME idea... I will be using in a couple years when DD (12) is extremely hard to buy for! She never asks for anything so this will be great for after when we have bought everthing that she has ever looked at ....lol

DH is in WalMart Management - cashier at another store told me prior to starting to check me out that she needed to see my ad. I just smiled, as I always have the ads, but DH said they are to match without ad and they are not supposed to argue. However, each store can "tweek" the matching - as near mine there is an Aldi across the street The eggs and milk prices at WalMart have already been dropped to match to save time. My DH's store will not match the meat prices at a certain ethnic supermarket, as the meat is not the same quality. Savings catcher only matches food items not all items across the board in th store.

Since I do my best shopping online now Thanksgiving morning new new favorite In store place to be is Petsmart ! I love the cat litter deals and can spoil the dog rotten !

This just in..... REI and Best Buy have joined forces for 2015 Black Friday....... You seeeee nothing...... Today we are letting the short people in first!

I use the savings catcher also. This year I used the full amount for my layaway down payment!

I love that I can get a bunch of the home goods that I want for my house. I always buy blankets and down comforters at Kohls because they are a steel. This year we want to get a down bed topper and I told my DH that we had to wait until BF....lol. I also get the movies and stocking stuffers. When the kids were little, BF was about getting the stuff that they wanted most, but now they are big and its basically the same expense! I had that same regret for not getting the fire pit at Home Depot.... it was so cheap!

Last year the same with my DD 11.... I needed her help with some Angel Tree gifts that I wanted to get and all of my usual BF partners were out of town. We don't have small ones anymore, but I do remember the mad house to get the pjs and matching slippers! Once she got there, she was completely overwhelmed..lol. I had her stationed in the bra isle with a cart and told her not to move that I would come to her! Extremely helpful to me and she actually was ok when the crowds dispersed after the initial frenzy.
