I thought I'd try making some of those caramel apples like you see on QVC for sale this Christmas. We exchange with so many people that it has really gotten out of hand. I figure this year that the kids and I can make some of those with different types of coating on them and maybe make some biscotti for our friends and family that we know really enjoy coffee. If anyone out there has a great recipe for either one of these, I'd LOVE to have it. I make a wicked chocolate biscotti, but thought it could be fun to do a couple different kinds. Also, any suggestions on how to package these would also be great!!

Thank you for posting this on here so people can help out. It is very sad that there has to be something like this, but it helps people remember that these were real people that are no longer with us. I think it would be a great way to give back to the community! Great job in pointing this out for people especially around the holiday time. It lets people know to be thankful for staying safe while our soldiers are out there fighting for us.

I am a HORRIBLE wrapper LOL!!! I have finally started using gift bags and tissue paper and things look MUCH better. My husband on the other hand is a wonderful wrapper. His step mom taught him years ago how to wrap. He does such a great job that it sometimes looks even better then if it had been wrapped at a store. I have warned him I may higher him out to other people!!

We put up the Angel we got in Desanzano Del garda, Italy. We got it our first year we were married. It's such a pretty Angel.

The best gift was when my husband was deployed and he got to take his 2 week R&R over Christmas. The only people that knew he was coming home for Christmas were my folks. We surprised everyone else!! I thought everyone was going to have a heart attack!

I'd love a chef for a week LOL....... Ok, maybe a personal trainer after I eat all the great food!!!

My folks spend about the same on both of us and his folks have actually spent more on me the last couple of years. Not really sure why though LOL.

I am in my mid 30's and I still believe in the spirt of Santa. I love to do little things for people. My husband and I have a Christmas ritual evey year. When we drive down to his folks, we always pay the tolls for the cars behind us. It's our way of playing Santa.

My husband not being deployed for this Christmas. My husband was deployed last year, but was one of the very lucky ones to get his R&R at Christmas. We surprised our families Christmas day. His father could not speak at first he was in such shock.:)

That is always me every year LOL. We are buying a new house and going to settlement tomorrow and I am stressing from that. It's sooooooooo close to BF. I like to be well planned out for and have money set aside. This is the one year I don't. UGH>>>>>>

LoL. My DS learned last year that he wasn't real, but I think the last couple he was starting to wonder. His little sister has no idea and he is so great that he plays up the whole Santa thing with her. He's not like some brothers who would go run to his sister and tell thank goodness.
